GTA IV need a quadcore for it to run smoothly and not even a 4ghz E8400 will help it run smoothly.
p/s:i can get it running at 35fps average on a 3.6ghz E8400,4gb of ram,a 9800gt on 1680x1050 and all other setting on the max but only after the patch and the 180.80 beta driver. |

to me.........the idle is below 40'c for each core and not over 80'c when the processor is on load.
