Depends on your other components as well. I'm looking to construct a torrentbox/server with an E5200 + G31 mobo (integrated graphic), and if the reviews are any indicator it should get around 40W idle.

...underclock this thing? wink.gif Then again, if stock and underclocked E5200 eat the same amount of power, I'll stick with stock speed.

I have gone to 3.2 Ghz on stock fan. I feel... liberated. No stress test yet though.
