for album art problem, just delete all song from your iphone with uncheck all songs. After that re- sync again. All album art will organize again.

I like this part, please guys, read it!

- The use of SIM-Proxies (small circuit boards/chips that sit underneath the SIM card) to provide GSM/UMTS service on your locked iPhone 3G is a method that we have always advised against. Early reports suggest that the 2.2 update disables the functionality of these devices. The techniques used were always unreliable and we are surprised that they have lasted this long.

brouhahaha...just saw the devteam update on their site too...time to update

Added on November 23, 2008, 10:02 amhmm... before I hit the update button...I just realised no one has mentioned about third party app compatibility with FW2.2. Anything on this? Any apps not working etc from Cydia?
*
Not tested for apps. Bcoz, the developer itself must update their apps.

As usual, before backup, make sure all apps in your springboard esp important apps like cydia. So far, this new pwnage tool worked as expected like beta ver.

Yea...and the waiting part just blows. Not forgetting that the phone goes offline for hours. Lucky it's a Sunday.
*
Less than hour is not bad right? And do you know, how much time dev team spend for testing Pwnage tool ?

mm... not less than hour. Must include time spent on restore, reinstalling all apps from AppStore, pwn+jb (this one kejap only la heh), reinstall all apps from Cydia, manual restore all the vital files like address book, and finally tweak whatever needs to be tweaked back. I happen to have a lot of productivity apps on my phone so to restore the informations in those apps that I won't be able to backup is going to take time too.

I enjoyed doing it all the first time round but to do it all over again is somewhat a hassle and it takes a lot of time. Don't mistake my rantings for whining though bro baretta hehe...I'm not looking to be labeled the wrong way. I'm sorry if it affects you in any way. I'm merely just warning others and saying that the process is frustrating.
*
Yepp, less than one hour from restored, sync, JB, apps (cydia). Tweak what? why manual restore address book? The process is simple. Just enjoy it when you do it.
