Thanks for helping me out over MSN David, however, it seems that nothing was wrong with the Pwning of the phone but instead my wifi network at home! It works perfectly fine at other places but it shows it's connected when I'm home, just that nothing happens. When I open the Weather or Stocks applications, it fails to update, Cydia doesn't download either. I had no problems with my home wifi before upgrading to 2.1. Any clues guys?

anyone tried using quickpwn 2.1 for 2g iphone fw 2.1? scrolling at contact and opening settings abit slow and sometimes lag.. is it the firmware problem?

But any comment/feedback on updating my Iphone 2G to 2.1? is there any probs and what is different from my current 1.1.4?

im also planning upgrade my unit from 1.1.4 to 2.1
i hav a nob question, cause in 1.1.4 need patch then all the contact will showing correctly, like instead of showing the incoming phone number it will show the contact person name.

will 2.1 without the patch can did the same thing??

i upgrade my 3G to 2.1 straight away after i got it since it fix most of 3G problem.

i'm just to lazy to update my old iphone from 1.1.4 since its been working fine. plus i don't use it very much.
