Can't wait for the OS3 update tomorrow...

Not to sound too demanding...when the dev team release the JB 3....will anyone here update the guide. My iphone is a virgin and this is the first time i am jailbreaking...so have to rely a step by step guide...thanks

Few more hours is going to 12am 17/6/09 in USA time.. Does that mean that in few hours time. Countries like us are able to download in few hours time later... But somehow, we also have to wait for pwnage tools release from dev team.. Perhaps they work overnite for this and thus we can get it by today..

i hope they also will release it at midnight then we can get it by today. anyway i just watch the video of musclenerd regarding the 3.0 unlock, it's called Ultrasn0w and it's actually work. i have download the video and i want to upload it into youtube but i afraid that muclenerd and his team will angry because taking they video and put in the youtube.

The iPhone Dev-Team has announced the UltraSn0w unlock for iPhones running the 3.0 firmware.

The UltraSn0w unlock will be released on Friday and will be applied in the same manner as the previous yellowsn0w unlock. The procedure will work on the 4.26.08 baseband version so all those who accidentally updated to the latest baseband will be able to regain their unlock.

Given that ultrasn0w will be available by friday, Pwnagetool and Quickpwn should be available before friday. Let's wait it out. Links to dwonloads Pwnagetool and Quickpwn will be available once the source is up.

* Only ultrasn0w is going to take til Friday to get pushed out. All of our other tools should be out pretty soon after the official Apple release.
* If you apply our jailbreak when it comes out, you can install ultrasn0w anytime after that. You obviously won’t have cell service in the meantime, though.
* This may in fact be directly applicable to the iPhone 3GS if it can be jailbroken, because it runs the same baseband version. Whether or not it can be jailbroken is a big question right now!

Quick question here guys,

My current baseband is 02.30.03(is this the current baseband right now?)
So, when we upgrade to OS 3.0 later on, our baseband will update to 4.26.08 aight?

anyone with jailbreaked phone update to 3.0 yet? I heard there are some cydia apps that will not work with 3.0 firmware.

seems like Dev team have some difficulties to release their tools... Hopefully they did not faced any unexpected issue..

when lah quickpwn come out for 3.0? seem waiting forever!

I have an iphone 2G which is jailbroken. I thought it would be okey to update it to the new firmware 3.0 so i did. Now i can't use my iphone. I thought of jailbreaking it again but when i connected it to itunes, it says that my sim card is incompatible usually there's the option to either update or restore. Its not there!

It was stupid of me to update it to 3.0 without any prior research on it but i did.

HELP ME!

your iphone is lock again after the update. you have 2 option which are
1. wait for the dev team release the pwnage tools & quickpwn
2. restore back to firmware 2.2.1 or older by following guide posted on the pinned thread

potion is right...when you got jailbroken before, dont update your iphone....the result has shown...Hope your iPhone will get back to normal

best solution for now is to downgrade back to fw 2.2.1. Goodluck!

dont think u can downgrade now... plse let us know if 3.0 can be downgraded
