when did it got stuck? after this?

go through the whole restore process again, try it from iTunes.

there's no way for them to detect it. a restore simply deletes everything.

use Hardware Sim Unlocker after unlock we can update firmware ?

ure saying that if u use sim unlocker to unlock the iphone, can u update the firmware right?
the answer is no..., means if every time u upgrade ur firmware, u have to use the suitable sim unlocker
(eg if 2.2.1 FW u have to use 2.2.1 sim unlocker adapter)

but correct me if im wrong...

Guys , i wanna ask how long do u have to wait during jailbreak - the very first process where the quickpawn says :
wait for your iphone to connect in Recovery Mode

Coz mine takes more than 20 minutes den my fons shuts down n the Quickpawn just get stuck there..

I've reset my iphone, did it the 2nd time but still the same..

Bought the fon from maxis ytd haha jb it today..

Hmm tried the third time still same thing ..

I've followed the procedures but my phone just gets stuck at the same step, it wont enter 'Hold down the Home button for 5 seconds'

i update using quikpawn using windows...i followed every single step....but i cant get any signals from maxis...ayone can help me?my wan is 2.2.1 with baseband 2.30.03.....help me....

I have a question here.

I have a locked unit Iphone with firmware 2.2.1 and baseband 2.30
Before jailbeak, unable to use it right , only stuck at the connect to itune page.

So after jailbreak, able to go to Menu page.
So i got a rebel turbosim.

The problem is the iphone showing "NO SIM"
Whether i use with rebel turbosim or just insert the simcard into it. The phone only showing "NO SIM"

So any sifu here able to answer what is the problem ?
Is the phone problem or anything ?

might the some issues with the jailbreaking. here's how. do a test to check it. restore the phone using iTunes (do not jailbreak) and insert the Rebel Sim to activate the phone & see whether is the carrier option available.

i also have the same problem...
and i tried to restore it, no jailbreak, and put my sim card and rebel sim inside, shown got signal..
then i jailbreak to activate it..
after that can receive and send MSG..
however, when i make call, then will appear "call failed" and no more signal..
*currently using iPhone 3G 16GB with FW2.2.1 and baseband 02.30.03 and rebel sim.


looking for advise for this situation... any sifu can help me ?
