Or...maybe MOD should have let us to create a sub-form called "Non-Profit Sales" in this particular [ iPhone ] section ?

I don't see any Non-Profit "sales" should be categorized into GarageSales though

Trade: dealings between persons or groups

Sale: the transfer of ownership of and title to property from one person to another for a price

Profit: the excess of returns over expenditure in a transaction or series of transactions ; especially : the excess of the selling price of goods over their cost

That is what I've got from dictionaries.

So, tell me, if the seller doesn't earn any profit, is it a business? Is it a trade? If there's no profit, how can there be a sale? It is nonetheless just a way of buying things to get discounts from it..

a sale is a sale. profit or not is the seller's problem.

and if everyone for every other thing are sold at Trade Zone / Garage Sale / Bulk Orders - why do you think your iphone related stuff deserves better?

we treat all items equal. your IPHONE is not KING thus it should be at the proper section.

if you want attention for it, you can put it on your signature. that's it.

the problem is not with the mods of this section.

the problem is with you people who think that your sales and your stuff are so important that it goes beyond forum R&R.

whatever that involves trade / sale / purchase, there is a section for it already.

alright apparently (let me check again, oh yes it has been closed down again), they are indeed very hardworking to make sure we are law abiding users.

however, there is one thing which i fail to see here in my second thread; now where exactly does it state that i was inviting users to come on board to purchase GelaSkins. can someone please point that out to me? please!

in my own defense, i was merely trying to show the users here, on how can one save some money if they are keen to purchase GelaSkins by using the members here as an example.

to strengthen my claim further, when user blockflop came around and asked if he could join in the purchase, i politely declined him via PM (please ask him to reconfirm) as this second thread was clearly not an intention to create a so-called Trade Zone section, under Bulk Order.

anyway, will probably update you guys about the final step to complete the overall transaction on how to purchase 4 GelaSkins at a price of 3! i'd hope that my guide will enable you guys enjoy GelaSkins at a much cheaper price (or probably give you a better insight should you require to purchase GelaSkins in the future). Furthermore, the selections available on their official website, consist of more varieties compared to our local retailer. Thank you!

all transactions are in USD unless specified.

each iphone gelaskin costs $14.95 and since we are only purchasing 3 (the 4th one comes free); 3 multiple by 14.95 = $44.85

postage will be fixed at $5.95 regardless of the quantity

sub total will be $50.80

hence the price of each iphone gelaskin will be 50.80 divided by 4 = $12.70

according to the star exchange rate is currently at 3.4830

and that brings the price of each gelaskins to RM44.23 but i will be collecting RM45 for convenient sake and minimise the exchange rate fluctuation. any balance will be returned via maybank2u of course.




and now, that's how the GelaSkins transaction is being calculated.
