Hi,

Pls guide me.

My friend just bought CQ40-337TU (non VISTA). When i tried to install Vista it will hang at "completing installation". By the way the installation DVD my guess it's quite old ~dec2007(without SP1) when i bought to install my Dell 1420 with Sata enable.

Also really annoying for the BIOS where we cannot disable SATA setting to ATA.


And for now i have successful install XP but i check at Compaq side seem XP driver not fully support.


Pls help me with XP driver.


If i'm planning to install Vista do i need get latest Vista DVD that support latest Sata harddisk i presume is "Sata2/e-Sata".

Is windows Seven the driver same as Vista.
