CQ40 comes with 2 different IGP, one is HD3200 and other is GMA4500MHD which one is better actually? (despite the fact that Intel C2D is better than the Turion X2 ) Can HD3200 supports blu-ray or other HD playback, without using the CPU ? between the AMD, C2D, Centrino, which one delivers longest battery life? QUOTE(cannavaro @ Mar 22 2009, 05:25 PM) HD3200 is better hands down. In terms of gaming, watching HD movies but not in power consumption. You can even see the difference in color. The ATI looks more vibrant. (I tested the same HD movies on an Intel based CQ40 and an AMD ATI based CQ40. Tested using the awesome CoreAVC codec, which makes it less taxing on the cpu.) btw what do you mean by 'support HD playback without using the cpu'? erm. it means the GPU can take on the h.264 decoding job without relaying it to the CPU. I heard 4500MHD has it, not sure about HD3200. battery life wise, how is the average hour for the AMD based models? assume its on normal surfing with wifi
