Guys, I been facing a headache about gettign a laptop, there plenty of laptop using the Nvidia GPU on their laptop, but lately I heard that there some problem with the Nvidia GPU for laptop, so I was wondering, should I just go ahead in getting a laptop with the Nvidia GPU or should I opt for other option?
Added on September 22, 2008, 7:25 pm QUOTE(ShinAsakura @ Sep 22 2008, 07:23 PM) Jimmy Kimmel Live. I know the show, some stuff in it really funny one, hahaha. But now I dont remember what Better than Late Show with David Letterman or Oprah. I mean, not better in a "good" or "significant" way, but good in playing pranks and such. Funny LOL This post has been edited by jim18992: Sep 22 2008, 07:25 PM |

Ya, dont get me started on the Intel stuff, it remind me of my on board motherboard GPU, damn lousy one. My father laptop atleast running on an ATI X1600, Acer travelmate series, work well. But now not much laptop using those ATI chipset anymore, but I did found one running on HD 2600, good, it Asus brand, which I'm unsure of. While Dell all use Nvidia chipset.

QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Sep 22 2008, 07:30 PM) lol don't look down on GMA wor... intel's current latest mainboards offer quite some bargain powering GMA wor... shared memory up to 1.5GB ya to what MyKy said, and sometime it not the shared memory issue, it the GPU power to process stuff and ofcourse the pixel shader stuff. This post has been edited by jim18992: Sep 22 2008, 07:33 PM |

The compability question for standard desktop motherboard or desktop stuff, that one always need to check before buying stuff liao, hahahaha.
Anyway, I think the current best Intel GPU for laptop would be the X4xxxHD I think, but unsure how many memory can it share. But as far as I know, I think also need to see the GC how many bit, they always say that a 126 bit GC can use 256mb of memory better then a 64bit GC with 256mb of memory. Anyway, who going to get the MG Ridden Zaku II ver 2.0? It not that long away liao right? any1 pre order it yet? This post has been edited by jim18992: Sep 22 2008, 08:03 PM |
