Gainward 4870GS 512mb Problem, "turbo" switch, cant boot bios

just bought Gainward 4870GS 512mb DDR5 dat has dual switch "normal" and "turbo" button...
When switched "turbo" button, screen will blank and cant boot in bios.. mobo detected no display card (beep sound) but if in "normal" mode, can boot in bios but when in windows, screen also blank (installed driver)...(uninstalled driver), then can boot in windows... anyone??  |

4870GS?New codename?

yess.. 4870 GS (golden sample) aka. Overclocked version... got dual bios...
 but if flash, not only flash one of the two bios meh??? the second bios yg mcm rosak..the turbo mode (overclocked)  Added on September 11, 2008, 3:42 pmanyone got bios for dis Gainward 4870 GS (working condition lah) ?? mind to share the bios with me?? What mobo are u using? Have you tried to update the mobo's bios? (pls do so with caution  ) |

using Biostar T-Power I45 mobo, latest bios...
tested the card with other rig, gigabyte mobo... same case also.. |

4850GS has less borderline clocks. From what I've seen in LYN, no big issues.

my spec: Intel C2D E8400, Biostar T-Power I45 (latest bios), 2gb Team Xtreem DDR800, Western D 500GB Sata HDD, DVD-RW, Gigabyte Odin Pro 800watts PSU (sufficient enuf)...
