i want to use 64bit, but no driver for my printer

now using ultimate 32bit

going to change to ultimate 32bit tomorrow from XP. why? i only have 2GB RAM. furthermore, software's' compatibility is an issue.

2gb is okay. i use 2gb in my ultimate 64bit, still running well. but need to add another 2 gb in order to operate better XD

Added on November 5, 2008, 11:19 amI'm using ultimate 64 bit, still happy with it, only the program files folder will separate into two for x86 and 64 program. so do happen for system32 if you want to install 32bit screensaver


I install CS3 on home premium, no problem so far. May I know what kind of error you received?

i am using ultimate 32bit lol..

I'm using Home Premium 32Bit..
So far i'm quite happy with it...

installer error.must be something blocking??how to solve it??

im asking u guise.... rite now om using vista basic 32 and when i checked with performance info n tools.
it shows that my sytem capable of 64 bit. but in device manager shows my pc is ACPI x86-based pc. means that my system support 32bit only rite not 64 bit. just asking. n please give a clear view ok. thanks....

Maybe the installer itself got problem.

I check my desktop which installed with vista 64, it shows ACPI x64bit-based pc under Device Manager. Your system capable to install 64-bit OS, because T5550 is EM64T enabled. Click the below link for more info about ACPI

The device manager show ACPI x86-based pc because now u are under 32-bit version of windows..
Your processor are support 64-bit. That's why performance and tools tell u that your system capable of 64-bit..

I just purchased a new laptop pre-installed with Vista Home Premium 32-bit running with 4GB of ram. I would say I need some time to get used to Vista as previously using XP Pro.

how about other apps,other than gaming i mean or language packs

Control Panel -> Regional and Language Setting -> Last tab -> choose wadever u like

Hey i heard allot people say Vista 64bit is more stable then the 32bit vista rite....
and peform faster then 32bit rite.. if got 4 gb ram...

Vista Business 32-bit. Dell's vostro 200 comes with it.
