I am trying to secure a scholarship and there is one q asking why I am the deserved one for it. With my relatively not-so-good results, are there any reasons that I can strongly leave some good impressions to them and hopefully at least net me an interview with them without being generic and typical?

U might be surprised, but being able to converse in English remarkably is still a plus point. I dun believe it's typical. Also, if u want to, try saying that u're a blogger and u have a link to show how good u can talk in.

What I did for my interview was sticking to who i would be and show my ethical side. Hope that helps a bit.

Yeah. Plus point. It's like journalism or photography. They don't have to have 4 pointers, but if they are well versed in their commands of words and artistic style in photography, why shouldn't be given?

Try thinking of other things. Like me, my advantage since I can converse in chinese, that also became a bit of a plus point to me. What u can't make up with grades, u can make up with street skills.
