Lehmann is dead. Merrill got lucky. Either way, it's not a good sign for the dollar if every financial stocks in the US is having a problem.

Well, pretty sure. I am GUESSING that FED will cut IR today; and this will be good for global equities. AIG will be saved, the government won't allow it to fail when push comes to shove. Will see about AIG, that i am not too sure.

If the FED says something good today, investors might be willing to take on more risk on their portfolio, thus carry trade should briefly rebound.

Yeah, too early, now i get burnt. Thinking of cutting loss soon.

Sorry for being away, was focusing on my equities instead. Anyways, i am ready go back in and purchase euro/yen. Maybe waiting for some retracement before going long.

I have a bad feeling that oil will go up soon to 115-120 range; maybe its because stupid US government is bailing everyone out @ wall st and main st. 11.3 trillion dollar debt?? Damn, the USD is so grossly overvalued.

Market still wait & see mode. But eventually the bailout will happen, euro & yen crosses will all shoot up. USD become toilet paper.

I am long 1.4486, 1.4570, 1.4643 as i believe usd will weaken tremendously upon the approval of the bailout legislation. Not to mention, oil might hit 115 this coming thursday.

Closed all long positions for Euro. Bail out talks might be delayed as Democrats are desperate to help homeowners.

I wouldn't place any big trades this week; in fact it be safer to stay on the sidelines since there's an impasse @ capitol hill.

Yeah, GOLD is the only REAL asset i can trust right now. Screw the USD.

Watch for nymex and gold to rally tonight.

Yeah, you might get couple of pips there, and like you said tonight will be dramatic mayhem when everybody rushes to commodities.
