Is it worth to crossfire if the mobo only have 16x 4x configuration?

I wan 4850 CF lo.. scale good or not if 16x 4x on P35 chipset..

u mean whole system only use 200w or the 4850 itself? Wat psu is it? Gigabyte odin GT?

I am using 8.10rc2 until now. No big issue. But i play warhammer online only lolz.

Well said, who ever said crytek 2 engine is good, you have to do some research on what define a good engine. Good engine is like unreal 3 engine. Perfectly optimised. Even a mid range computer can run the game like 50-60fps. My 9600gt run is 60fps most of the time at MAX setting. The graphics is comparable to crytek 2 engine i can say. Crytek 2 engine nothing to shout about also, no ppl buy their engine, why? Lousy. Unreal 3 engine even expensive, ppl buy until siao edi.

4850 i think best until 22inch la.. dunno also. Becos tried crysis above 1680x1050 all cpu bottleneck i think, all same score lolz.

now using e8400 4.0ghz running 2 days edi so far no prob. Can play also. Probably gonna upgrade to corsair tx650w in future. Total power consumption u can count at 1 psu calculator website, mine now like maximum draw 340w only. 450w sure enuf one.

Yea i mean CPU la.. tried benchmark crysis, 1680x1050 and 1900x1200 FPS same. I suspect is CPu becos my cpu lousy lolz.

Is like that one la... Ur processor bottleneck edi. Last time i use e6300 even at 2.8ghz enthusiast also not that playable. Can play la.. but choppy sometimes. Then i buy e8400 @4ghz, smooth smooth one, but still got little choppy, maybe my hdd is slow, so keep on loading.

Anyone using the far cry 2 hotfix driver? I dont know why my crysis warhead is so unplayable and gamer setting. Choking all the time. My processor is e8400 @ 4ghz, hd4850 and 2gb ram. My OS is vista ultimate x64.

Now i am using 8.10 hotfix driver. Just dont know y it choking like no hell man.. Anyone with Far Cry 2 hotfix playing warhead plz let me know how it is..

Damn, no luck running crysis warhead. Choking like no hell at gamer setting. I guess its either my hdd or not enuf ram. Wat i saw is HDD keep on loading, and i think my hdd near spoilt, the loading sound is quite loud. Dunno wan get 4gb ram or 1 new hdd... arrgh..

Added on October 29, 2008, 1:00 amBut i run far cry 2 it works like charm.. only crysis warhead. My hypothesis is becos not enuf ram, it use the pagefile, and my hdd is damn slow and got bit prob, so pagefile is slow, thus stutter and choke here and there.

I think becos ur amd is not powerful enuf. Bottlenecking ur 4870 edi la.. Far cry 2 not smooth? Is it stuttering? I think its normal. Try gfx_maxfps 30 or 40. It sets ur max fps to 30 or ur liking. It will be less stuttering but only at 30fps lo. But 30fps CONSTANTLY and no up or down is considered good edi.

Dunno y now like better edi. I tried to delete the cache file, then use optimal setting then switch to gamer setting. At least the choke is bearable and still quite playable. Very few loading. I think i might get 4gb ram asap.

But not bad le.. can oc until so high. Better than my kingston. I need to oc until 450mhz fsb then enuf edi ma. Cant upgrade gfx card, PSU not enuf juice for 4850x2 or 4870 lolz.. Have to wait for 5 series next year. Start saving now

Go download readydriverplus to disable the driver signing when windows startup to use ati tray tools

i also just found out one. U can install those older driver or those unsigned driver like my wireless dongle which never comes with a signed driver..

lol enthusiast setting with 4850.. Dont expect a mid range card like that can go enthusiast please. Summore at high reso. Try gamer setting and see. If it still persist, then i suspect is either driver prob or ur hardware got prob.

eyes can only see 60fps max la.. 200fps? u got a robotic implanted retina or damn good brain.

i wanted to ask that at the dxdiag screen, those who are using vista sp1, what did it show? Mine is directx 10 only.
