hmm,maybe depends on the seller/shop u got it from? I had my 3870 rma within a week. had 2 option, wait 1.5months for new stock or top up for 4850.@tech_frix, wah, finally getting ur card

Well, how can that be a bad point of ATI cards? even Nvidia cards to overheat

hot? single slot? well, enable the fan control then. leave it at 50% >_>...Even when i run on reference cooler previously, it's single slot, load temp around 80c if not mistaken,idles at 54-56c. if u cherish u card, u won't mind getting a better cooler for it.

overheats? depend on which brand u r getting. all cards can overheat. there is no such thing as quiet and cooler
