it's odd tat some ATi cards are not supported in the latest catalyst driver...

it happened on my frenz 4670 as well... no driver found in latest catalyst... only in the CD bundled...

Just did.. everything is working ok. Driver in the box is CCC 8.10. Sadly 8.11 not supported most probably; I'm wondering why is it so. Neway thanks guys

i noticed something here in LYN, people tend to prefer the brand nVidia over ATI regardless of how bad their cards are, like 9500GT in comparison to HD4670
marketing failure by ATI?

not killed..had some weird buzzing sound..at first it was during gaming..then later on even not gaming also buzzing..so rma lor...very fast..less than 1 week my new card arrived

i got some funneh story want to share...
yesterday went to LYP for windows shopping....
then i decide to go to Viewnet and ask about gigabyte 4850 zalman...
and then d seller said finish edy...so i was like damn...
then i ask him again, when will d new stock arive...
he said maybe next week or next month....then i was like...ok la bos...TQ...
but then he recommend me other brand....and guess what??
u know what brand he recommended to me??
its ATI....yeah!!! ATI!!!hahaha....
like giga 4850 is not ati...lolz!!!
then for d addition, he oso mention that ATI is d best and gigabyte lost to them...
and some more said like this "dulu r, gigabyte banyak power wor...
tp skrrg ATI sudah menang punya....u jangan risau la...ini ATI number 1 wor....

then i just smile at him and buzz off.....
hehe...i got so many funneh experience from viewnet...

wa lao how the hell you raep your card so hard you are so merciless go and doggy the card 4 what lulz mine still lasting long like heck 4 more than 11 months dy...i bet my card sure lot of people die die want 2 buy one and sold like hot cakes when i plan 2 sell it in garage sales because the condition is still looking very new after almost 1 year

u dont need to uninstall ati driver

dunno why a lot of ppl are doing this
after 8.0
theres a install manager that will update neccessary installed components only

just make sure u restart once ure done

until today i havent uninstall my ati driver...
after even changing mobo's a few times.. for my ati rig..

i've mention it earlier.

1st, sometime cannot boot, i hav 2 replug the GC only can boot.
2nd, playing NFS half way got artifact......................(just only upgrade my new car........haiz....)
3rd, after artifact, screen no display, can c lots on line only, but the game is still running, i can still hear the engine sound wen i accelerate.
4th, restart but cannot boot.............
