Hi all!

I've read that iPhone has some of the quietest speaker on phones, which is the only thing that keep me from spending a fortune for this phone...

But is that really THAT bad? I mean, not loud enough?

Oh does it have vibration mode?

Sorry for the dumb question, I've read the FAQ but I wished to have opinions in details. Thanks in advance! biggrin.gif

not really.. my alarm wakes me up every morning.. that shows that the speaker is loud enough.. and the vibrations MAY lead u to orgasms... so its good enough, i think.. tho i dont use the iphone's vibration features to get orgasms.. smile.gif

Ok...honestly the 1st gen speakers are really soft...
3G speakers is much better..
But of course cannot compare with Nokia or SE speakers..
But iPhone is worth getting...speakers are a small problem... tongue.gif

yeah, how about that? does it handle in car communication well through speaker/mic? loud enough to be audible when driving cheaper cars (you know, no noise-surpression)? tongue.gif

or i can go with iphone + digicam loh. either one also can but i want to make sure i make the right choice since going for either combo also cost a bomb. sweat.gif

die lor the more i hang around iPhone section the more i kena poisoned. doh.gif

to be frank i was so used to phone with very basic features so i can't imagine if i'd like to have personal entertainment carry around with me or imaging capabilities anytime i want. couldn't justify the need of mediocre 8MP and xenon flash cause when i really want to shoot nice photos i must admit i'm quite fussy one, so probably e the SE C905 couldn't satisfy me.

but what i like about iPhone is i can virtually bring a tiny laptop around with me, with multi language input which is not present on smartphones/feature phones. happy.gif

as long as the alarm very powerful then i'm ok, maybe in car talking will use wired handsfree or BT handsfree. icon_rolleyes.gif

thanks guys! thumbup.gif

em almost there, and found a superb deal on garage sales (RM3k for 16GB model), but i THINk i just don't have enough money yet to shell out before the COD date. sad.gif

probably will wait for its launch in Malaysia (heard Maxis will be the one, and i'm a long term maxis user), although could be a looooong wait but at least i also eye'ing on the SE C905 as well so i won't be the white mouse for experiments... tongue.gif

em i use laptop to just browse webpage and listen to songs/watch video. of course cannot play online games (which phone can do that anyway?) and i don't play games on phone. biggrin.gif

for phone feature i just need sms and phone call.

i played with other nokia smart phones and the slowness/lagness simply turn me off, and played with ipod touch's safari, fell in love immediately. biggrin.gif

Actually, there is a way(jailbreak) but there's no point of downloading files to the iphone as you can do it with your laptop/desktop. Most of mp3's/videos are sync via iTunes.

cannot download directly from web links did make me worry a bit, but since i needed to download/send attachment for emails (not too often for what i'm doing for my daily job), guess i'll have to use the email client instead of the web based one. smile.gif

alright after doing quite some reading guess it's ok to go for the iphone 3G as long as it's officially unlocked, and jailbreaking is almost a must since it doesn't void the warranty anyway, and able to fully restore! rclxm9.gif

now all i need is just money... cry.gif doh.gif
