Hi, I m using Zoom G2.1u with Cubase to record
Was wondering how you guy go about your track by track recording. Do you record drum 1st etc.. And how you guys align them so that it flows smoothly?

u need to set the input...in cubase, u need to set the input in the VST CONNECTION section...

n about the tract by track recording, 4 example, record the drums 1st...then record the 2nd track (for example, guitar) while playing back the drum track...n so on...

traditionally drums will be recorded first, and then bass, then guitar and other stuffs. align? there's no shortcut but practice a lot and learn to follow click (metronome) or play tightly with drums.

i always start out with a drum loop. Then usually guitar or keyboard to put down the basic progression. Then vocals (or lead melody if it's instrumental)

Everything else comes after with no particular order
