the hyper 212 looks wrong to me O_O
*
QUOTE(cschun86 @ Sep 13 2008, 04:37 AM)
well, it looks wrong for me too,
but if not mistaken, it is due to the am2 hole of that board is in that way,
and thats the only way to mount the hyper212,
right, jud?
*
yeah is the only way to mount my 212...clash wit my psu...
QUOTE(Sib @ Sep 13 2008, 04:43 AM)
well jud, the 212 shud face the rear fan so tat the hot air flow would jz go straight out... nod.gif

but i DO notice tat if u do tat it will clash with ur psu, rite? it's more troublesome than mine bro... sweat.gif
1 more thing, it's better to face the 212's fan upside cuz hot air will rise cuz it's lighter while cold air is gonna go down. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
yup..clash wit d psu...so i need 2 change d fan or change d position?...planning 2 add another fan though....
QUOTE(chyu89 @ Sep 13 2008, 05:28 AM)
I dont think the airflow of pull and push is the same. I dont know why they design amd board all fan position must bottom -top type.
*
now i know...
QUOTE(sepulgilo @ Sep 13 2008, 05:35 AM)
the bracket for am2 seems not right even my HR01 facing that way but i relocated the fan on top instead of sitting behind gc (better coz if behind it will suck hot air produce by gc)
*
which 1 is worst yurs or mine?

any suggestions guys?...d 212 i might add 1 more fan n change position...n d rear fan i will change to pull air from outside...wat do u think?

i will do dis after i buy a new thermal paste...old 1 finish oledi...

finally thanks guys...really appreciate it....

QUOTE(z3alousn3ss @ Sep 13 2008, 10:54 AM)
It isn't good because it'll look messy. It wont affect the transfer rate or what not.

QUOTE(WebWalker @ Sep 13 2008, 12:46 PM)
You need to change the 212 direction.

user posted image

212 is very flexible to change the direction unless you have other thing blocking its way.
*
lots of it...especially my psu cable n d psu itself...will do some tinkering after dis...wanna buy d thermal paste first....hehe..thnks

QUOTE(wanakin @ Sep 13 2008, 02:08 PM)

wow..so messy 1..mayb ur psu cable too long...haha...anyway.. i dun think ur hyper 212 install wrong la...ur using AMD processor right?...all amd mobo only allows after market cpu cooler to blow the air upwards if not mistaken..just like mine
*
dats wat i tot when i first assemble it...so its true...still can do sumthing bout it rite? ...thanks anyway

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Sep 13 2008, 07:03 PM)

@Jud
manage those cables man....tie them up and shove them in the unused cdrom bays....thanks

also the ccfl tube at the front of the case is pointless....put it on top of the case for better coverage
*
