Anyone here has a couple of yate loon 120x120x20mm fans laying around? Or who knows where to find less than 25mm thick fans? I wanna install it at the top of CM 690. Mr. V8 is too fat for 25mm fans to squeeze in at the top.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 12 2008, 03:22 PM) Err, google GTFO for it. You won't want him typing it out here LOL! Hmm, did you try rotating your V8 90 degrees? I'm gonna try it soon, maybe can fit one fan at the right fan slot.Btw, I think you made the right choice, coz V8's performance is better than Killer Whale's, isn't it?V8 is pretty damn huge, one reason I got a tower HSF is because I wanted to fit fans on top of my CM690. Would have gone for the KillerWhale instead of it if it wasn't that huge. And here's my pic, better hold your breath! ![]() I know, my head's huge, like the V8 |

To everyone that said I'm lucky, you're all lucky as well. You guys have better rig than my Core 2 Duo E4600
Back into topic now, I wanna ask if I can install fans of other sizes istead of 120mm on top of CM 690. This post has been edited by EasternBadge: Dec 12 2008, 04:46 PM |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 12 2008, 04:46 PM) Looks pretty tight on the top. Like no space @@. Unless you want to DIY to fit it outside the cage which one of the forumers here did before. Some cutting is involved though. Nonono, I meant is there any other sizes of fans that I can fit on top of the casing other than 120mm ones.Btw, I think got 20-23mm space between my V8 and the top of the casing. So, I'm now finding 20mm thick fans to fit between it. |

In the year 2000, form 5 students having a handphone is considered as spoilted brats. Now students aged 12 also play DOTA, like my friends, but not me, I prefer FPS games. And in the present, kids that are only 7years old are using Nokia Nseries phone. Even in cybercafes, kids as young as form 1 are already playing DOTA.. this is one of the reason why alot of LEAVERS !! Curse them.. it took me 1years+ to be able to play with players. Try hiding all your cables behind mobo plate, it will look much more nicer. |
