Open to all Gran Turismo players - GT3, GT4 and GT5P (will include GT and GT2 if we have common track and car)

Rules :

i. Must use only the car stated - no mods.
ii. Road tyres only - no Racing tyres.
iii. 2 tyres must be on track at all times.

dont you think that GT3 and GT4 version is more easier to control compared to GT5P... i found GT5P is harder because it is more realistic in term of controlling the car. but i dont know how far it true, maybe we can state our version, GT3,GT4,GT5P....

Hi, just a question. For GT5P, Road tyres can also be described as N tyres, right? I just need to confirm as what type of tyre compound I'm allowed to use? e.g. N1 (hard), N2 (medium), or N3 (soft). Thanks everyone.

Oh btw, the GT4 one is the Nord one. would be great if they make the 24h layout.

Hi. Yes, for the online time trials, there is no region lock. The lap times are listed globally. You can view all the best lap times from all players worlwide.
But not for the online races. You are only able to have online races with others who own the same game region as you.

Hmm..so time trials..everyone can compete with each other..

But racing against each other in a game is depending on region...

What region are you guys here using?I might join the bandwagon =P

I noticed by using G25, the shifting is faster... hmm, which means, slightly better acceleration... damn, i gotta get my own g25...

Bro, keep on trying, by the time you get used to the pro physics, then you'll find standard is friggin' too easy. lol

With pro physics, it's feels rewarding when you've finally managed to tame beasts such as the Ford GTLM. Agreed with aaron, once you've hooked to professional physics, it's hard for you to get back to standard.

Aaron, yes it is mid-engined. But the drivetrain is 4WD. Yes bro, the car can do it less than a minute. The fastest guy on the leaderboards did it in 0'53.XXX with S2 tyres. But I think the GTR is much faster.

Hmm..you guys do the time trial through the arcade mode right?Arcade mode only allows you to use the cars in the garage is it?I can't seem to choose other cars that I haven't bought yet =s

I tried with Evo 9 GSR '05 with N3 tires (pro physics)..managed to get around 1min+..I r suck..lol =P

Wanna try other cars but can't select not bought cars =s

madman20, yes the time trial is accessed through the arcade mode. And yes, you can only select cars available in your garage. 1min++ is not bad for the Evo9, as the car lacks top speed on the straights, but it should be lightning fast on the corners though. How about using the Nissan GTR?

Mine's GTR34 is indeed the fastest 4wd car... whoa.

But it tends to fishtail at certain corners... especially the london roundabout corner... always oversteer out of the corner...

Mastering that part made up a lot of time for me... well, actually, because of the roundabout, i gained almost 1 full second.

I've just tried the Mine's R34 just now. The best i got was only 0'57.683 with N3 tyres using pro physics. Almost 3 seconds off your pace, aaron.

Well... still couldnt quite get the roundabout area right... It's always my lucky break at the roundabout when i get a good time.

It's always either too slow or too fast or oversteering or understeering.

Shheeesh.

Yes, agreed bro. The roundabout area is very tricky for me too. Sometimes, I find a good early braking point, but I often screw up on the exit due to too much oversteer... Need to work more on my poor throttle control I guess.
