Erm i using handmade a wooden casing , erm the wood is something like those guitar de wood, i wanna repaint it into chrome colour. or metalic white. Champion White..Civic Type R colour.. anybody know wad paint can have this effect? cheap is better...

Pearl white or metallic white, it's not cheap.

Go to hardware shop, find the spray paint colour meant for wood. I think less than RM 10/can. Buy 2/3 cans. Start paint away. Only one weird thing, when I started spraying, flies came swarming. Flies seem attracted to it

But if wood surface , u need to apply a layer of putty, then sand it. The paint u would prefer try Car spray shop, mayb they charge abit.

Added on September 11, 2008, 11:56 pmAgree, or else the woods surface imperfections will show through the paint - especially in high gloss situations where light is reflected.

Auto body shop for quality paint is a MUST - I wouldn't recommend anything else.

of course bro..this paint also good..like paint called 'cat tukir' so good for use..

The clearcoat finish from auto paint is very durable. Think about what car paint has to endure just sitting outside in the hot sun, or driving on the fwy, or raining, etc etc.

If it can survive on your car, it will do fine in your house sitting on your desk on some case.
