hi guys, im a new owner of this laptop bought it for rm2099 from an it store here in east msia.

installed vista home premium 32bit. upgrade to 2gb ram. however i feel its abit 'not smooth' such as the windows minimize animation is abit laggy.

wat can i do to improve this except upgrade another gig of ram? im a 1st time vista user.

edit: omg i duno how this happen... my keyboard seems to hav sum serios problem such as the 'fn' key. i hav to press it to get the letter u, i, o... instead im getting the numbers...

my 'shift' key isnt working as well...

how to fix??

hi guys, u all were rite abt the temperature, my temperature were once shot up to 79c during heavy loads, maybe higher i din know cus the temperature monitor i use doesnt givs any warning, its the cpuid.

i tried speedfan but it cant detect any supported chip, im clueless abt this... i hav everest home edition n i cant seem to find any function dat monitor the temperature, im guessing it wont happen in the free version??

any other similar software recommended?

ey guys i jus notice dat our 126ax doesnt hav a temp sensor for its hdd or is it jus me?

im using everest, thrs cpu core voltage, gpu temp, core1 core2 temp, n cpu temp. no hdd....

or did i missed sumthin while setting everest up?

n yea m using vista home too. guess i hav to live wit it unless any1 here knows how to fix this

anyway wat r the criteria for an hdd to heat up to a risky lvl? im a bt user, games not more than 2 hrs a day n couple of movies n sum surfin/chatting n dats it, i assume the position of our hdd is stored in the left side bottom area whr our left palm rest. i always feel the heat thr.

hi guys any of u here using vista has a problem on the on/off button? turning it on ofcos is not a problem but with recent update, i found i cant shutdown my laptop by pressing the on/off button anymore, it goes to sleep instead, hav to alt+f4... works fine b4 this...

any solution?

wanted to try but saw a colleague used an acer wit a geforce 9200m gpu n 4gb ram played gta4, it was bad even low setting... i can estimate it wont be any better using a cq40
