but the proc is amd wo.. although is ati3450 gc..

if u want to game on the laptop, then AMD is nice choice
if just regular office, work, study use, Intel is urs coz better battery life and cooler
it really depends, btw both intel and AMD models also can decode H.264 video by bitstream.

i saw some selling 3450 512mb and some selling 256mb ..
why 401ax got 2 different gc size but oso same model number for 401ax?

only 401ax comes with 3450

nt much different since the memory is limited by the bus width

This model i checked le is come with 256mb, but if u saw 512mb, u can ask the ppl or check for the spec on the laptop.

u try to go navotech website check, it selling 512mb..

quite a number of members have bought the 401/402 AX, they come with 512mb ATI3450, there was a mistake because those sellers directly copy the specs from the 133/134AX (old models)

yea..u r rite..the sellers always confuse us and assume they 'know' bout computer..

i mean the 401/402AX comes with 512mb ATI3450, RM2000 is not cheap at all.

PC Fair brochure stated that it costs RM1899 with 1gb ram. I think an extra 2gb ram does not cost RM101

if u wanna get 401AX and upgrade to 3ggb ram, it's not advisable..
the ori 1gb ram that comes with the laptop is althought PC2-6400 800mhz but its CL6, if add on another 2gb, [ie kingston pc2-6400 800 mhz, yet CL5, in my case,] the ram will only runs in 667mhz and not 800mhz, do beware of this..
i suggest to go for 4gb if u have budget, if no then upgrade to 1 stick 2gb PC2-6400 800mhz CL5 1st then upgrade again later..

Both of the cooler help to cold down abit, if u dun mind then juz like me, use table fan direct blow to ur laptop, comfirm cold~~

hmm... refer to my post here, Intel Platform currently with 2gb Samsung ddr2 800, if i upgrade to another stick of 2gb DDR2 800, would it run at 667mhz or 800mhz?

does 5-5-5-15/6-6-6-18 make a significant difference on the performance?

1. if u wanna upgrade, then get the same samsung ddr2 800 CL6, if u get other brand that's running ddr2 800 CL5 then it will runs at 667 and not 800

2. u can't tell the difference between CL5 and CL6 unless running banchmark to see the number.
cl5 is slightly faster than CL6, then main point is 800mhz VS 667mhz..
