wow... today see newspaper and found that cq40-115au sell only 1549 in pc fair!

but i now have some question, and hopes pros can help me.

1. Any diff between ATI3200 and 3450? Is the diff very big if i only normal usage with some mid range gaming like dota?

2. Since ATI3200 is an integrated card, will it produce less heat compare to dedicated ATI3450?

3. Wat is shared gpu, it shared my RAM? If i putting 4GB on both model (shared and dedicated gpu), will it diff become less?

4. the design between this two model is it the same (air flow)?

5. How much RAM can it support max? Is it 4GB?


Haiz...the price is so attactive... 1549 + 4GB 800mhz RAM (160) = 1709 only

actually, i mean that xrossfire in 115au not 125ax...nvm forget abt this....(i tot HP disabled the integrated GPU in 125ax so that it cant be used. Since 115au using integrated GPU and if can buy a discrete GPU for it, is it possible to do crozzfire? HP disabled discrete GPU slot in 115au?)


i know 133 come with extra spec, but the price is another thing if i upgrade both to 4GB ddr 800.

133ax, 3450+RM-72+320GB+4GB ddr2 800 = 2099+160 = 2259

115au, 3200+RM-70+160GB+4GB ddr2 800 = 1549+160 = 1709

2259-1709 = 550


So, RM550 for a slightly better (according to cannavaro) GPU, 0.1Ghz faster proc and 160GB HDD. Is it worth? Can anyone analyze for me?

differences between 3200 and 3450 really worth RM400? (maybe nid to include extra 70GB HDD space)
ps: 133ax still in my budget, but i wan it to be worthy.


133ax/126ax user, still working fine with ur lappy? heard that heat is high in this lappy, but is it still working fine? if yes, maybe will get AMD lappy in this coming KL pc Fair...

yalor.... i play my highest game is dota (dun laugh ) hehe....

i have a destop rite now, but share with gf. Now doing master program, so nid using pc to do some paper work. but sometime gf nid to use also...so... have to buy. Now waiting the rite time to buy. just wonder 3200 will diff how much to the 3450....LOL

4GB ddr2 800 system + 3200

which graphic card will perform better? shared memory mean using RAM is it?
or both will perform same?

that one is destop GPU, not mobile one

wah, u so rich wo.....buy sis a expensive X'mas present!!!!!

maybe go for 125ax ler (hope got extra ext HDD for bonus also).... becoz 3200 is 32bit and 3450 is 64bit and RM200 diff. Scared that will regret is not getting 3450.

i will make it 4GB ddr 800 lo... abt RM2000 total.

do you think extra 70GB worth RM100? becoz 133ax got extra 70GB than 125ax. i can use RM100 upgrade RAM~~

But 125ax seem generate high tempt. any ati3200 user here? can report ur lappy temp? if 3200 and 3450 generate similar heat, then 3450 will be better lo...

If 3200 generate much less heat then i also will go with 125au as u although mine is freedos but same spec wat.

any pro have expert recommendation if my mind is wrong....

why dun use vista 64 bit? can give max to 4GB 800...
