found the remedy a.k.a solution  rclxms.gif  jor...

First Change the SATA Operation to ACHI operation as "myitlab.net" stated then... put the Ultimate DVD in to boot when reach the partition part put driver's cd in load the ACHI driver after selected which partition to install.. right after loaded the drivers take out the ULTIMATE DVD again & behind to format VOILA Done..

Yes it can be done that way too!

Most of the Dell notebooks have the website to download drivers...

If the case of BSOD appearing, because it can't read the SATA hard disk... you have to:

1) Download the Sata Driver from Dell website Model...

2) Copy the files to the Floppy Diskette

3) Upon boot to USB Floppy Drive

4) Upon Installation, when ask to press "F6" . Then you sellect the appropriate Sata Drivers for it !

Done !!!

No need to change Sata to AHCI


I'm Computer Technician, I used to install dozens or downgrade of Dell Notebooks, HP, Acer... through the steps above.
If really no Sata driver on the manufacturer website. Then look for the option of Sata -> AHCI.
