Depending on the intention of this thread, that "LOCKED" statement may even apply to the action that should be appropriated to this thread as well.

I'd rather him be angry with me for being nasty with him, than him paying that much money and come back playing with an iPod Touch instead of an iPhone.

If not stemmed earlier on, potentially this could escalate into "HELP! I cannot use my iPhone 3G UK in M'sia!" or "Can I use HyperSIM/TurboSIM with my iPhone 3G UK?" questions, that would either incur further wrath or more forehead-slapping moments.

Stemming this earlier helps avoiding occurence such as this from happening. In fact, I see this as doing the poster a favor, should his intentions were to purchase a UK iPhone 3G.
