not sure if you've realized this, but ANY decent post 1600-1800 arena players entering BG = cake walk. its basically child's play. arenas are where the big boys play.

nah was a priest.
both teams running RPD as mentioned (rogue priest druid)

thanks to stupid mana reset, and only 1 dps (well, both druid's dreamstate and CAN dps, same with priest smite/holyfire/MB>SWD combos, but you get the idea)
30-40minute PER GAME on OFFLINE LAN tourney, is totally boring, that and its at like 3-4AM in the morning watching LIVE stream. i was nodding off minus the clutch moments and/or going in for a kill (offensive cyclone a target sub 50% hp, rogue whack, priest already casting hfire > MB > SWD and druid starfire > moonfire for a gg)

think bout this, avg priest in arena gear, have around 220-240 spirit WITH DS, if enemy team can strip your buff, you wont even have DS. how much spirit ur left?

somemore thats assuming you can even use spirit regen while ur almost constantly spamming spells/GCD burning. the only time spirit would excel over mp5 is drinking, and any competant team would prevent that as much as they could (even in tourneys, you can rarely see teams drinking with so much preasure being applied and even if a drink occurs, it doesnt last long)

and with mp5, the need to even drink can be either prevented, or further delayed.

in a nutshell, minus a few exceptions here n there, leave spirit outta pvp. its always been that way, and will remain that way until something drastic changes.

you wanna see how fast i can tear up a 0 resil, 9.3k hp BUFFED, no pain suppression priest up?

again, leave spirit to pve, theres no room for spirit in pvp minus a few exceptions that ive mentioned.

p/s: that guy got DAMN NICE healings for a spirit focused priest. of course hes buffed and all, but still 2.6k heals with so much regen/spirit is still a damn good feat.

refer sk-100, and look only their priest/druid. only a SMALL fraction gem spirit, provided theres people even going spirit.
and thats usually ONLY their purple 11 heals + spirit gem, and that only.

my hemo/GS can crit up to 2.5k++ on his 0 armor 0 resil body. 9.3k HP buffed. and the ammount of hemo/GS i can spam.

you do the math.
sub 10seconds should be able to finish the job

oh and he cant fear me too as i got WOTF + pvp trinket + CLOS
so he cant even delay the killing.

most LEAST used stats, perhaps. however if you refer to the armory ch@ich@i linked, you'll understand how powerful spirit can be when properly used.

900 mana/tick = ~10 ticks 0-100% mana
that itself is GODLIKE now matter how you think of it.

the only thing is that in pvp that said priest will be gibbed and dead healers cant heal. (or regen mana, for that matter)

The point of being a mana class is that.. you're quite powerful with mana but shite if your mana is 0. In WoW, you're just as good as other classes but still shite when your mana is 0.

mages have their issues, thats a known fact. well, just *MAYBE*, they wont be so bad if warlocks are so f***ing good (DESPITE being an ez train target in 3v3/5v5 against cleave teams)

lifetap, then drain life, and lol pet having mage's 17 pt talent.
