oh too bad, genting casino house rules:-

"Persons under 21 years old are not permitted to enter the casino."

Don't worry just dress up maturely and you can go in. If they suspect you, then only show your IC. They won't create a scene there. Will just ask you to go out the casino if you're caught. Just go in and have a look. It's a good experience seeing the crowds and people betting.

Yup, and taking the "Go Genting" buses is the best way. You can depart from KL central, Gombak, 1 Utama, Pasarakyat, etc.
Rate includes cable car is RM 8.50 from KL central.

For first world hotel, you have to take a number and wait. Normally will be one hour plus waiting time depending on the season.
But for promotional room rate make sure you check in before 6PM.

Bro, u do believe in rumour huh...ppl died of car accident & taxi accident more than cable car...the last cable car accident in SEA was in Singapore Sentosa island 25 years ago when I was still in my secondary school ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singapore_Cable_Car_disaster ) & there is no single cable car accident in Genting Highland so far. Unless u can verify those rumours. Even the haunted rooms in 1st world...(That's more scary to me as I'm having eerie feeling staying in 1st world too!! biggrin.gif )

BTW, What I meant is those rempiting Nissan sentra taxi going up/down Genting..man u really get headache on those taxi...very scary experience...Most of my trip there was to park my car at the cable car station & took the cable car up rather than driving as parking is another problem up there & very taxing to your auto-gearbox!! My car gearbox kaput years back going up to Genting & cost me RMXXX of repair cost sad.gif

doh.gif I'm speechless. Guess I need to ask someone to translate this to you.

"It's better to be safe than sorry later"

Rumours, I KNOW(I've mentioned this many times and I still can't believe u keep on bringing this up again and again)

Second thing,

Your car's gearbox won't go kaput going up Genting. doh.gif This is fact. My car can go up and down genting more than 10 times and yet, my gearbox still in good condition. Parking there is one issue I know. That's why if you are going on LOW SEASON, I don't think there's parking problem.

THIRD,

Why I suggest to take taxi rather than bus + cable combination.
1st - Cable car rumours - It's better to be safe than sorry later
2nd - Your so-called go Genting gearbox kaput doh.gif

err...I only waited 10 minutes...was there last weekend.
They have kiosks now...capable of dispensing room key cards. Just make sure you bring your Worldcard or MyKad for it to work. The Kiosk even lets you have one or two keys...your choice. My room was made through online booking...I have no idea what those people were waiting for. Maybe you could ask the receptionist when you go take a number to let you use the kiosk...and they just call it "Kiosk", no funny name. There are kiosks for checking out too. It took no longer than a minute!!

Since when you see I Spreading those rumours.

Did I said :

"Don't take the cable car to Genting!"
"The cable car to Genting fall down, don't take cable car"
bla bla and so on.

It's clearly that you don't know what you have said and what others said.

wink.gif Bus, cable car, taxi or personal car to Genting. All I've experiences on it, until one point where I'm thinking of wasting more money for better transport.
