got my TP from mtcs LYP today:)

reading up on the phone and hopefully i dont have too much problems with it.

my first pda phone

i removed the mapking r12 which mtcs installed for me..

that version makes the bottom softkeys skin turn turn black to white lol.

i believe u can install crackberry:)

I got this problem guys:

When i receive a sms. The phone wont ring or vibrate. Once i remove the phone from standby then it will ring and vibrate only..

this means i need to check me phone regularly


any idea how to fix it?

Wah.. first time using winmo is not easy lol..

a lot of things to learn.. still dunno how to flash.

yep, im well aware lol..

thats why im still reading and learning until im confident enough.

s740 looks too elongated lol.. Though its nice to have a keypad and a full qwerty.

The mini usb cable that TP has is a 11pin HTC version..

You can use your normal mii usb for syncing and stuff but if you realised your handsfree and any other add-on like TV-Out will need the proper 11pin cable head

anyone got their phone going blank?


what happens is my screen will turn like a TV with no signal (static) and it wont respond at all to any inputs except a soft reset.

happened twice.. will take a picture of it the next time.

currently is 16g i believe.. there is no 32gb card here yet.

even 16gb hard to find. but im pretty sure TP will support 32gb

I cant hear ppl on the other end.. ITs extremely soft.. Tried to soft reset and the volume for calls is max:(

sad thing is that its only 2 weeks old.

Nothing! was working till Sunday.. Till small issue but since then i was using BT to talk so today only i realised.

I went back to Lowyat MTCS today as my phone issue is still there and I believe it is a HW issue.

MTCS refused to give a 1:1 replacement. I know my phone is 15 days old but Im sure if they wanted to they can.

Tomorrow Im going back to them to demand again.. I hate doing this but RM3000 on a TP and it stops working in 2 weeks:(

Ah well if no 1:1 then i need to send back to shah alam glen marie as the Lowyat SiS drop off point is closing already.

but SIS will take about a week, i asked them.. dunno why so long.

What I suggest is we try to collect some info on the batch of TP we get and the issues, maybe we can detect any issues with the batch.

i heard its because the phone cant differentiate between normal usb charging and usb charging from PC? Did u try charging from PC btw?
