QUOTE(kimganner @ Dec 22 2008, 09:55 AM) haha...no probs. now that i've got a PDA phone, you're the saviour instead. lol nope as long as u have all the necessary essential information on the song file itselfwill try your method later at home. btw, is it necessary that my songs be sorted in folders (artist) & subfolders (albums)? find that system very troublesome, actually. it shud automatically sort out each artist and album respectively |

QUOTE(old newspaper @ Dec 23 2008, 05:25 PM) congrats and welcome to the community ! thx old newspaper for posting again did not read this earlier now I read it and tried its brilliant for your issue, try this tweak and i can guaranteed it works ! [ i'm using this setting too and never again facing auto shutdown of application use any registry editor and try this; HKCU\Software\HTC\Task Manager change 1. EnableAutoKill to 0 [in decimal] - default is 1 2. MemoryThreshold to 2147483647 [in decimal] - default is 115343360 here's the simple explanation for the above tweak; Avoiding unwanted cancelation of background applications In order to improve memory management, the Touch Pro – by default – tries to remain a certain amount of free memory. Once a certain “memory threshold” is reached, the task manager will start to cancel applications that are moved to the background. This might be desirable if you need a lot of free resources for applications that depend heavily on huge amounts of memory but it is a pain in the a… if you want to run a few applications simultaneously [e.g. Mapking for routing, and Gyrator 2 to change orientation of the Mapking while navigating]. So if you know how to use your PPC, you basically do not want this to happen. [ i actually had posted this earlier ] TQ TQ |

QUOTE(auhckw @ Dec 23 2008, 10:36 PM) Can I ask a quick question, yup need to tweak a bit1) My boss bought this HTC Touch Pro. He said he noticed that when someone tries to call him, the caller will hear 3 rings, before his HTC will ring. Is there anyway to make it quicker to wakeup? 2) He said every time he take the phone out from the pouch, the line will get cut? Any idea what is the problem? Edit: Nvm, found the CABs on the first post. Will try |

QUOTE(prescott83 @ Dec 24 2008, 10:43 AM) click advanced config tools then GPS and click it to expand in there got Assisted GPS then enable it.. settle tried that to geotag pics doesn't work Added on December 24, 2008, 3:49 pm QUOTE(old newspaper @ Dec 24 2008, 02:00 PM) yes......but i hardly use that feature.... guys can't get the geotag to work even by searching forum for help can define more of your problem.....worst case i can guide you how to diagnose all the TP hardware issue if really needed [this diagnose is a compulsary step done by technician in SIS] have you try the ring delay patch? or have you store/copy all your contact in the internal phone storage [not sim card] ? you deserve a medal, for using the search button/option. seriously i haven't experience constant losing signal even after enabling the QuickGPS/aGPS option.....could it be due to the custom rom you're using? i'm still using stock rom yes, no issue here either whether enable/disable the aGPS.... lol....it's hard for us to know how slow is the slow of your TF3D......have you apply the TF3D tweak and apply the netCF tweak? i'm currently still using stock rom and happy with the overall performance including TF3D.... using SPB Shell? i rather not......i would opt for custom rom for performance than just cosmetic interface..... another happy TP user This post has been edited by booooster: Dec 24 2008, 03:49 PM |
