Hey guys, just got my TP yesterday =) I compared a few units at Pda Expert Lowyat yesterday and yeah, the keyboard moving issue is there. The supervisor told me it's because of the spring system of the TP. I didn't encounter any problem with the voice loudness while talking on the phone, I think the volume is pretty loud. As for the speaker of the TP as well, it's pretty loud. I do encountered some problems while soft resetting mt TP. Sometimes a message asking me to send a report will pop out saying something is wrong with Shell32. I wonder what is that? Any opinions on it guys?

Hey guys. When I'm connected to the Internet via WiFi, how on earth do I disable the GPRS/3G thingy? Apparently my phone persistently kept trying to connect to the Internet via GPRS/3G and failed each time, and these annoying notifications keep popping up.

Woot! Ahh I eventually did a workaround: I synced P990 with Windows Contacts (erm some Vista thingy), converted the contacts to vCard, then bluetooth them all back to my phone lol. Slightly longer process there.

I didn't have Outlook.. yeah I guess that was the problem.

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but I saw this tweak on the first page:

Boost TFL3D Performance --> HKLM\System\Storagemanager\Fatfs and change key Cachesize from 16384 to 32768
Much quicker than number 1 on it’s own, now extremely fast.

Do I use a free registry editor to do that or what? When I tried to edit it in the registry editor, I got an 'Access denied' message. I was trying to edit my TP's registry remotely via my computer.

Google the .net compact framework - you're supposed to install that first.

Anyhow I got further questions that are mind-boggling me.. first time using Windows Mobile and I'm not used to it at all.

1) I have a bunch of ringtones under My Ringtones folder in the phone storage, but how come I can't seem to see the list of my customised ringtones in the list for "receiving a new message"? It only appears under "receiving a call" or something like that.

2) I have lots of music in my memory card, but it's not appearing in the Music panel. Only the songs that comes together with the phone are listed there.. and how exactly do I delete these 'default' songs?

3) WiFi problem. Inside the Comm Manager, when I click on the Wi-Fi button to turn it on, a few secs later it turns off by itself! Does anyone know why is this happening, or is this a bug?

Hey i found out a minor problem with my TP and i would like to know if any of you experienced this problem. I tested by calling my TP with my landline and when the line is connected, my TP will only start ringing like maybe 2-3 seconds. The screen will turn on almost immediately but the ringing only starts like 2-3 seconds later.

lol, but most women dun like windows mobile wan. too complicated for them, unless they're really interested in learning lol.

how come after i install the diamond tweak,when there is a incoming call during my conversation,the tp didnt show the incoming no and only can hear the incoming caller tone...n?ot even can hold the call and switch the call also...y?

Does anyone know how to create a shortcut to be placed under Windows/StartUp in the phone?

Not start menu.. I want the program to be automatically activated on starting up the phone. Erm.. the program that I wanted this to work with is Ariel Battery (the one that displays battery life in percentages).

Hey Baronic i noticed something that you mentioned in the touch pro tweak spoiler area. the first tweaked u mentioned which uses advanced config to change files system cache to 8mb is essentially the same with the 2nd registry tweak that changes the cachesize from 16384 to 32768. On my device, after i did the first files system cache tweak using advanced config to 8mb, then i soft reset and check advanced config again and it stays at 8mb. After that i applied the registry tweak changing the cachesize from 16384 to 32768, when u check advanced config tool, the file system cache is changed to 32768. Did anyone noticed it?

can i know how u change ur start to iniciar?

Is it me or does TP seem to be taking a long time to lock to a satellite using Garmin XT? Should I try another GPS software instead?

Additionally, while I was driving with my GPS turned on, whenever it enters into Sleep mode, my GPS stopped detecting the satellites immediately, and it has to start searching all over again =.= Any suggestion how to workaround this?

My TP also got problem with Garmin XT.... Mapking 2007 works

i found some problems. I realize that after i slide out the keyboard and press a number on the keyboard,the TP will make a very long sound. it will stop until i press another number. Do u all experience this? Thank 4 reply. Urgent!

why got this problem? The price of the TP so expensive but also have minor problems.

Anybody found a good pouch for their beloved TP?
