Just to share with you TP members.

I was looking around for a good screen protector and found out 3 options for my beloved TP.

Martin Fields
Brando
Boxwave

After hard decision making I decided to go for Boxwave after much applaud reviews.
So I ordered through my CC, got a confirmation invoice and shipping notification. Not long later I receive another mail.

This is how it goes.

QUOTE
Dear Leong,

Malaysia has had a long standing history of credit card frauds and has been on the high-risk countries list for all major credit card companies. We have banned shipments to Malaysia as a measure of preventing fraudulent activities. This is not a form of discrimination but protection for our business as well as potential victims of identity theft.

Your order has been cancelled. The amount of $16.55 will be refunded back onto your card. Please allow 3-5 business days for it to post onto your account.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

Best Regards,

Mariko

I was really disappointed. Sighh guess I'll go for martin fields then.
Was really dissapointed in how other countries look at us. I feel ashamed. Time to migrate I'd say.

They just don't want to ship to malaysia thats all. They have already deducted the amount. When it comes to shipping invoice suddenly they cancel and refunded my $$

Means they don't wanna do my business lol.

Sorry guys for the late reply.
Just got back home.

Anyways here's the poison guys:

Here's Kerry's Review of TP Flip Up Pouch.
Before I decided to buy a pouch for my TP, I've been researching elsewhere and found out so far those brands like brando, pdair, etc is almost exactly similar in design. They basically just "stamp" their logo in the pouch, to me its all the same. The difference is that there are a few types of pouch, one is the flip up and the other is the slide out pouch. I believe there's a crystal hardened aluminium casing or some sort available now.

They come in a box, all wrapped up and nice. And they come with a free keychain too.

When you opened the box, unwrapped it there's your pouch =)

user posted image
This is the back look of the pouch, it ain't that bulky from the back. It just looks bulky thats all.

This is the pouch with my TP fit on it. Initially I was dumbfounded when I open the box because I don't know how to put the TP on since it has two layer (keyboard). I thought it was like a clip on because from what I saw when I opened it, there's a plastic white cover. I then realize the plastic white cover is for you to slide your keyboard in hence the picture. Its abit tight at first but it fits perfectly nice =)
Also sms'in in this mode needs to get use to it because as you know there's plastic cover holding on to it.

*Also for those TP users who has mentioned that their keyboard is slightly loose, the spring mechanism is loose etc...when you fit this in the pouch its not loose anymore due to the tight fitting of the pouch and the plastic sleeve holding on to the keyboard.

This is how it looks like when the keyboard is not slide out. Also the other end of the pouch has the PDAIR logo engraved on it. If you buy other brands like Brando etc... you will get their logo imprinted on it.

It looks pretty bulky compare to the stock pouch. But the outer part has a nice cushion layer. Love it.

user posted image
This is the side look of the pouch when it is closed.

Last but not least, this is the back look of the pouch. Notice there's small holes for the speaker and a well designed hole for the camera. I have tested the sound quality and it is better compare to using stock pouch as the latter has no holes hence the sound is softer.
Also there is a clip bundled together with the pouch, it is an addon accessory if you want it to clip it to your belt =)

Conclusion:
Pros:
+ Better quality than the stock
+ Durable
+ Design
+ Fits in perfectly

Cons:
- SMS in keyboard tad to be a little tough for me as the pouch gets in the way of my fingers.
- Slightly bulkier compare to the stock pouch

Well guys hope you like the review. For those who plan to change your stock pouches, what ya waiting for? Go get em' ;p

Don't worry bout the sides as you can see its perfectly covered.
The only side you can see is the HTC innovation that portion since it is used to slide out the keyboard =)

ooo...nice pouch you have there! i'd seen this same design pouch at pda expert [not pdair brand] and it seem the thin layer of plastic that suppose to hold the device sometime tend to make the keypad hard to slide out/in. anyway nice review bro  thumbup.gif

Not really hard to slide it in and out. Because it is designed like that, it makes some of us TP users who complain its abit loose can feel its tighter once it uses this pouch.

When your gonna get one? Hehe.

My next project will be pimpin' the screen protector.
I'll be going for Martin Fields, watch out for the next review =)

Hey Kerry, if you don't mind me asking how much does your pouch set you back in total?
*
Uhm 'bout RM90 me thinks. can't remember exact cost.

Also SFOD, yeah I got mine thru poslaju I think.

Did you get a shipping invoice in ur mail box? You should get a notification that ur box has been shipped first tho.

Hrmm I downloaded S2U2 (slide 2 unlock) yesterday. Apparently I found out after 15mins of inactivity (my phone gets locked) someone calls me up and the S2U2 appears, but I can't seem to be able to slide it lol.

Anyone face this issue before?

@Kerry, just press the answer hardware key? does it work? then if u wanna unlock maybe close the dialer and then slide to unlock
*
Yup it works when I press the answer hardware key.
But beforehand when I use S2U2, I get to see who's calling me, but now when I apply S2U2, I only see the <Slide to Unlock> which I don't know who is calling me then.

Oh well guess can't have the best of both worlds.
I'll uninstall mine if the issue persists.

Nope my s2u2 is not working correctly and I got the latest version.

Apparently when anybody calls me, I can't see whois calling me nor any call/reject, all I see is SLIDE2UNLOCK page.
