coz my touch pro is cacat ...

did you set the backlight manually or leave it set automatically by default ? as for your yellowish photo taken by TP, there's a method to over this....

anyway, it's true that most of the HTC devices suffer from this issue [ apply only to certain batch of releases ]....but i noticed affected Diamond yellowish screen is worst than TP...

when you perform the Pim backup procedure, it will prompt you where to store the backup data....search from there lo....

btw, i managed to figure out how to improve the [telco] radio reception on TP....but it quite complicated and tedious to do it....

oh.okie.thanks for the guide.hmm.can i know during the charging time, how come my dpad  light will blink during charging and when there is message and call?is it automatic settings?or can i adjust it?

here is a pic as what i meant !!
*
it's a default feature with TP, the moving circular light indicating the battery is still in charging.....there's no option in the program/setting to change it unless you perform a registry hack to disable it.....

where the data will save wen u all back up by pim back up???isit storage/#recovery???but i cant find this folder at all
*
try to use the search function to find the file lo....

by default, Pimbackup will automatically named the file as PIMBackup_[backup date]

still don't get it? here's the screenshot of my pim backup

user posted image

there could be few possibilities if you can't find it;

1. you accidentally deleted the backup file - 50% changes to recover the file using some special sd card recovery software...

2. your microSD corrupted - 50% changes to recover the file using some special sd card recovery software...

3. you didn't perform proper backup at all - no chance to recover at all !

hope you did not fall into the third category...LOL

still some word at the right side that i cant see... i wan to srcol over there to see also cant
*
hmm....read it in landscape mode also can't see the word on the right side? let me find out more on this...as i don't use the mail function.

in similiar situation e.g reading the SMS preview [from the TF3D itself] and yes, you can't read the words on the right side but when you go into the SMS, i bet you can read the whole thing regardless in portrait and landscape mood.

*
lucky chaps.... biggrin.gif do backup the storage card content also to your pc too ! [ just copy and paste the whole file in the card ]

QUOTE(RME-RAnger @ Jan 10 2009, 10:20 AM)
any diff between pim backup & sprite backup? almost the same right?

edited: get it already:
1 is freeware (pim backup) and another 1 is  commercial ware (sprite backup)
tongue.gif

i think bro old newspaper got spelling error, should be "didnt" right, just now a bit confuse  rclxub.gif hahaha..
*
Sprite could offer the mirror backup whereas Pim Backup doesn't.....psss....i don't do mirror back up just pim backup will do, if i really need to perform a hard reset....i prefer a clean and fresh installation with clean registry....and i can restore back everything manually within 5-10 min tongue.gif [ as all my application are in cab file stored in the storage card and i don't need to even use/sync with pc ]

and oh yes...my bad...my spelling mistaken earlier.

QUOTE(eujin @ Jan 10 2009, 10:35 AM)
hmm.where can we see the battery percentage?i thought its based on bar only?
*
setting > system > power or perhaps you could install the FInixNOver VGA Battery Icon [available in the 1st page] which give you a more accurate power status reading..

QUOTE(antipoison @ Jan 10 2009, 11:08 AM)
yes is default program ......
my TP so so weird.... charge till 89 % then suddenly jump to 100%.... rclxub.gif
and also vice versa.. yesterday 70% then suddenly jump to 50%...
do u guys face this kind of problem?
*
no...not that i'm aware of. usually, i'll just leave it charge alone without monitoring the charging progesss [ who would want to do that... tongue.gif ]

by holding down the end key to lock the devise can become an nightmare if you're using stock rom. this is the known issue [ due to the firmware bug ] for the extremely fast battery drainage as we discovered in the earlier session....no harm, just give it a try and see if this bug still exist in the latest batch of TP with latest build rom.... icon_rolleyes.gif

light boost - incremental of approximately 50% from the current state

full boost - incremental of approximately 100% from the current state

you can try out both to find out the result that suit your liking......
