The way I see it, its all about the price only mah.....
Eg. Say the last transaction of similar house on same street is RM200k. You find out that there is previous AhLong problem before, so owner advertise to you at RM180k. Sure worry. What it RM150k? hmmm.....maybe. Then how about RM100k? A RM100k discount from market value.....get the drift.
So you're probably at a price that you are still "hmmmm". Offer him a "lower than hmmmm" price and seelah. If he is desperate, then he might bite. Of course, if he accepts that kinda price, there's alays a risk that there is something else with the place that you do not know about.
So go talk to the neighbours. Ask them about the house and how is the previous owner and what actually happened. Malaysian neighbours are especially nosy.....they shut the doors and windows, but know a lot wan.
