Well I think too many guys have input their opinion already on the subject matter. But I'm going to jump into the bandwagon as well. Yes more guys than gals responded.

Have you guys notice an increase of girls wearing pantyhose when you go out ? I do, I live in small city Kuching, and almost everytime I go out I notice some ladies with pantyhose. Like this afternoon at a deconstruction site, I was waiting for a lorry to arrive, sitting in my car. A OL walk past in sheer black pantyhose. I thought to myself about the early postings in this thread and how funny that for almost every 5 pair of naked legs I see at least 1 covered in nylons... then the lady gave me a sweet smile, I smiled back and she got into her car. And off to work.

I think most young girls now a days wear opaque more or are more aware of it, due to influences from Japan, Korea and Taiwan. And probably a lot from anime's.

@Rodney Seems like your into photography as well as I. In the past few years that I have been taking photographs I only had 1 or 2 occasions where the model wore pantyhose. Once was grey and another was black. I found that it was pretty challenging to shoot. No matter how I try it came out either flat or dull...

Anyways nearly none of our local models that I have had the opportunity to work with like to wear pantyhose. I suppose bad experience from bad hose.

Every time I go to a shopping mall, I see all kinds of pantyhose, opaque, sheers, patterned, colorful etc.

Erm... both occasions they wore it on their own accord. It was personal portraiture. First one was quite quick one and we didnt have much chance to chat. But 2nd one we had to take a 40 mins drive to the location so there was more chance for chatting. Apparently she has been wearing it since she finished secondary school, due to some scar on her calf muscle. cant really see it actually. So for her it was a necessity.

For me it was cos controlling the light was fairly challenging as the sheer quality of the material doest really show up as your naked eye sees. I guess I need more practice.

Got a lot le... but those are not called MODELS dy.. I just call them talents. Models by my definasi is professional ones... just tell them wat u looking for and they will create the MOOD for d photographer... talents need more guiding and usually not used to be in front of camera

@crys dont get me wrong. there nothing wrong with plus size or chubby gals. most i met have better personality than the model types. But sometimes its about how u carry or portray oneself in front of the camera. Right Rodyeo ?

Added on November 3, 2011, 2:38 pmitu memang.... they lack of self confidence in themselves and in their looks. our society mindset is like tat la. I have shot a few + size and plum ladies. But not able to share the pics as they not allow me post. for their private consumption I think they are harsher on themselves than we are of their loOks.

not all slim gals can give positive result but large majority can lo. but tat also comes down to expectations right ?
