Hi,
I won't deny it when I say I do wear tights (opaques) on my outings. Sometimes people just can't seem to take their eyes of me especially women when I'm at the mall accompanied by my girlfriend. I did get some thumbs up from them occasionally. And yes, she's completely cool with it. Also we do not share the same hosiery as our sizes are different. Not to mention the hygiene point of view.

As for a fashion statement, guys wearing tights or hose are of the minority where you can hardly spot anyone walking with it (in Malaysia that is). At this point in time, people especially here in Malaysia do not know what to expect for themselves (or how to put up with) when they see a male wearing tights.

Personally, tights are fabulous and it does make your legs look and feel good. (I'll not get in to the fetish part on wearing tights/hose as you can have search the net for it.)

For those (guys) who are curious on how they feel like, I would recommend that you put some on and feel it for yourself. And if you don't know how to put on a hose go here, http://shapings.com/Merchant/merchant.mv?s...ng_on_pantyhose
or simply ask a female counterpart for guidance.

Cheers, smile.gif
Roger

It is interesting to know that more and more guys discussing pantyhose, and even some guys do wear it. It is still uncommon for guys to wear pantyhose in Malaysia as still not generally accepted in Malaysia, espcially for those that have old fashion mind. I cant imagine that what happen if I wear pantyhose in front of my parents.....

Even the spandex/lycra shorts (think this should be more common for guys than pantyhose, right) also not seeing many guy wear it, even in the sports. It will take an extremely long time for man pantyhose to be popular in Malaysia. Needless to say, the popularity of pantyhose for gal is increasing day by day.

Its really a fashion statement to say what garment is common or not doesn't really matter. In this sense hosiery. And it lies solely on the wearer to make it fit the situation. Whatever you put on is entirely base on your taste and your perception of the function of the attire to any specific occasion.

So it is only fair for a person who have had experience with the attire(tights) to have a say on what's to wear and not to in the eyes of people.
In other words, it is really ridiculous for a person who had not try on a pantyhose/tights to judge others or for that matter society as a whole about whats the in thing and whats not, and further seed the situation of the public perception that men wearing tights is a big no.

Fashion comes and go. And if you have the means and are comfortable with whatever you put on its totally a personal thing. Sure the society in general will be shock if they come across a person who dresses complete different from the daily attire of the "in crowd". But then again, don't you ever get bored with what you put day in day out. I know I would. After all, a successful guy is not a 24/7 a shirt, tie and pants guy.
It is only those who are willing to try out new things and taking risk that are winners of the day.

I do know that when I do kick the bucket someday, I won't have any regrets.

goodday,
Roger

Hi, I just came back from China, Suzhou. I found out one thing that you won't see such scene in Malaysia. More than 80% of ladies over there will wear pantyhose/thigh high, mostly they won't go out bare-footed. I was wondering why and just curious about it. So I went to asked a local lady about it, and the lady told me that usually they will wear pantyhose all the time, even at home. This is because of the humid weather in Suzhou. She even said that "original Suzhou citizen" will know the humid weather will cause leg pain in future, they called it (Fung Supp), this kind of humid is even serious when raining, all the moisture on the ground will come up invisibility, they call it "humid radiation". She also said that don't think that pantyhose is only a very thin layer and can't give any help or protection, she said because of this thin layer of pantyhose, already protected so many Suzhou citizen from getting (fung supp) and a lot of old people over there still can walk for long hour without any leg pain. She said Malaysia weather is quite same as in Suzhou, maybe even more humid than Suzhou, but Malaysian like to bare-footed and show off their bare leg to people.  hmm.gif

I second that. Hosiery has more pros than cons in our daily lives. Some may wear support tights for relieving pain especially among the elderly in their mid 40s and above.

I would give thumbs up for the chinese people for taking precaution or whatsoever in rheumatism prevention when old ages sets in. Anyways, like what I've said no matter what reason you're wearing hosiery for, its always good and beneficial.

The cup is always half full.
