the pictures that u've seen in page 22, i think those are hard to tell, probably 40 den..and the pictures are usually not that accurate due to different lightings and how it's worn (when it's stretched more, it will appear less opaque)
anyway, IMHO any deniers of black is nice, it all depends on how comfortable you are in it or how well it matches your clothes..lower deniers (aka sheer pantyhose) has an advantage of being more 'breathable' but more 'fragile' compared to higher denier (aka opaque tights), but with newer technology, durability of sheer pantyhose nowadays have improved significantly. The opaque tights are more durable and less breathable. I would recommend getting one of each type to see which suits you better.

Just went to Isetan & I got the Guanze nude tights & another Japanese brand (4 pairs in 1 packet) which claims to block away UV rays ! I'm loving them ! The Jap one is super sheer & suitable for everyday wear ! However the Guanze one is more for shopping since its not that sheer, but the material is soft to the touch ! Also, bought 2 pairs of fashion tights from Topshop which I love love love ! Here's a picture of one of the Topshop ones.

look like u r a fan of pantyhose. R ur work required u to wear pantyhose everyday? u normally wear pantyhose to shopping as well? wat is ur view of wearing a pair of pantyhose to shopping? 'Guanze one is more for shopping since its not that sheer' wat make u think tat less sheer pantyhose is more suit for shopping?

Rikrik, oh no I'm not working yet! haha, I just want to wear the black ones because they look good under short pants & dresses that are not too long nor too short! The nude ones are meant for days where my clothes doesnt match the blacks, but I want to keep warm, especially in classes Of course its really nice wearing them to shopping malls! The black ones with designs looks very pretty to me!

if u wan to keep warm, u should try higher denier pantyhose or opaque pantyhose, but very rare to c student wearing pantyhose to class everyday in Malaysia. won u feel weird when u wear nude color to class, or ur nude color pantyhose jus match ur skin tone whereby din c any differences. but i think working office ladies should wear pantyhose everyday bcoz is kind of look more professional.

hmm because the higher denier and opaque ones are too obvious. sometimes it might not match my outfit. heh. hmm the sheer ones i bought were not too obvious, so it wouldnt look too weird ! haha yea I think when I'm working, black sheer ones are nice !

hmm..yea it pretty rare to see student wearing sheer nude wan...haha..but tat good as well..sheer one aint tat bad..and it goes well wit certain outfits..

actually is good to wear nude sheer type when u go work or casual wear, at least u won c very obvious color but really make legs look better. I have a friend like to wear sheer pantyhose with skirts and even with long or short pants everytime she went out, she say the pantyhose make her legs look smooth n pretty.

i think gals in malaysia don like to wear pantyhose out due to some reasons:
1. weather too hot
2. good quality pantyhose not available in market
3. expensive

Rikrik, hahah no I dont mean it that way ! It just feels so soft to the touch, even I keep touching it. So smooth you know what I mean ! Hmm I prefer wearing it when I wear shorts, skirts or dresses. When my legs are exposed. Layering it under jeans & long pants will be too hot for me. I think it's more of a how well they take care of it thing? If taken care very well, it will be less expensive in the long run

i when through some china pantyhose shop in internet, and found out they did produce a lot of pantyhose in all kind, some hardly find in our country. like those compression type, they claimed that it can make your legs look more slim and good for blood circulation, some even with 5 toes type. kind of interesting also. check out the link below, but all in chinese words.

@Rikrik I love the 5 toes one too ! But then again, I don't know how to read chinese word & they look abit complicating =( Does Taobao ship straight to Malaysia? If yes, whats their charges like?

On a side note, my pair of tights yesterday, they seem abit too short for me, like the upper part can be seen if I wear a short shorts. Should I try to stretch them to elongate them? I bought S where the waist fits perfectly well but the length is a little short. M will be too big on my waist & too long !

I already dealing with the supplier from China now, I planning to bring in some of the compression 5 toes pantyhose bcoz the price is still affordable. Recently I already brought 1 pair of 5 toes but without compression (15denier), quite sheer n barely c the pantyhose from hips to toes, suitable for any occasion and yet smooth ur legs.

theoretically, it should stay at waist level unless u're buying the low-waist type
