I started a website over at GoalSnip.com which post on all the latest football highlights.

What do you think about that website? I need some suggestions from football fans themselves.

Interesting site. A couple of questions / comments:

1. What do you ultimately want ur readers to do with the website?
As in, will they go there for all the latest scores and updates? Or is there something that the site offers that nobody else does? Because if it's the first option, you will have a hard time maintaining it and keeping up with all the latest news and results - news agencies and other websites (eg soccernet, teamtalk, etc) have their own teams doing that.

2. A suggestion is to narrow down your offering into something more specific; like funny football stories, or team-based (eg liverpool news), or great goal highlights, etc.

The football website market is incredibly huge, and it takes a lot of differentiation to stand out from the rest. I admire your initiative in getting this started; and wish you all the best!

It's all about football highlights video so you don't miss any games' goals. lol

Just wondering, any games goal.. does it include spain, french, italy, germany, holland goal highlight?

Not bad, but like what the others mentioned before, there's already heaps of websites which provide the same videos as you do; the key here is how to stand out and become prominent.

One suggestion - Try to write some witty introduction paragraph or a summary in each video thread, rather than just a title plus the video itself. It may be a minor detail, but if it brings a chuckle to the viewers' faces it could be a nice attraction.

Well, I tried to simplify everything because hopefully the site will loads faster and you guys can quickly view your videos.

Hi Desmond28, nice effort there. But please dont view me as a thread destroyer but i need to caution you to be aware of possible copyright issues by postings of football clips from youtube. The broadcasters have recently been active in clamping on these clips on youtube (of cos its virtually impossible to crack down all the links due to manpower, but trust me when i say they are serious) but just thought should warn you first before encountering anything in the future.

Anyway its good to see football fans taking proactive steps to promote their interest and passion

Check out the terms of use page. lol. It's nice to share games and matches some football fans missed. If you know what I mean.

When I missed my favorite teams' match (especially final games like CL Finals), it really hurt me a lot.

Update goals, every matchday. Try BBC Match Of The Day uploads on internet and provide to everyone.. if you need help..pm me..
