Why Tevez will going to be top 10 ?

Why Ronaldo will be sold for 130million ?

Although top transfers does not really include BPL clubs, but yet, if you were to sum up all, rather than comparing one bid with the other, BPL really rules the whole market...

our local team mainly sign players through free transfers..not many teams can afford to give out big money to get players..some teams even can't pay their player's salary

that was a free transfer deal..hence galaxy paid no transfer fee to real madrid for him

How much do our local lads earn actually? I remember seeing some articles about foreign players playing for our local clubs. They must be earning pretty good money to actually consider playing in such an inferior footballing league.

I guess those foreign players aren't professional themselves. They should be earning 5 figures in terms of ringgit

yea rite, ridiculous fees for mediocre players. who wants to go to citeh now?? sheva? kaka? torres? cristi?? fab?? no way. citeh is a mediocre team, for now. unless they have success in all competitions significantly, on a year-in year-out basis, like the top 4 always do now, then, maybe yes. stars, and i mean top footie stars might think about moving to citeh. but not for now.

I think Dr. Sulaiman will replace Mark Hughes with someone more famous, for e.g. Jose Mourinho? coz not many players want to play under Mark Hughes, he's not big enough (yet)...

BPL will become more interesting if City really buy all the top player and start making challenge to those big 4......btw Zidane transfer is really the most worth in my opinion.....bringing the CL trophy to Madrid and demonstrating his skill at there also....so enjoyable.....master Zizou..... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

I think Dr. Sulaiman will replace Mark Hughes with someone more famous, for e.g. Jose Mourinho? coz not many players want to play under Mark Hughes, he's not big enough (yet)...

No chance of us selling our best player to a rival. Plus, I would love to think that Man City will try to break into the top4 this season. Inconsistencies could cause one of the top4 team to drop to an another zone.

lolz i think 30-50 million also is too much to pay for any player.

its the over inflated EPL market that makes it that way. compared to other clubs, EPL's transfer market is crazy.

not to mention that high transfer fee players lead to more media coverage and sponsorships...thus more influx of $$$ to BPL...

its not that, the transfer market in BPL is absolutely crazy...

one crazy example, Darrent Bent to Spurs costs more than Thierry Henry to Barcelona???

a half decent player who is english would command a ridicolous amount of transfer fees when a club could get at the same price a foreign player twice the english 1 doh.gif

Back to topic, if SAF thinks the team can cope without Ronaldo, no doubt he could be sold to Man City/Real. The thing is, it's very hard for us to sell to any rival team.

8.Dimitar Berbatov (2008 - Tottenham to Man United) : £30.75M

10.Rio Ferdinand (2002 - Leeds to Man United) : £29.1M

Two Man Utd players in the top 10 list....and these two players cost 60m.. thats a lot of money...

I have no idea why most Man Utd supporters here still cry about they have no money to spend, most even believe Alex Ferguson won trophies without spending....

It isnt true afterall...

I am not trying to criticise. If you are in Football Lounge long enough, Most Man Utd fans here (but not all) do believe they do not spend much and always blame other teams for buying success...Just simply browse through the forum..

Yea by selling 1 player we recoup ALL of it with additional profit. So i wonder what a certain Spanish manager is gonna accuse us of now? Buying success? WOW we got success and profit as well... are we some kind of business gods? whistling.gif

Yes...Business gods...Reminds of me Veron...That was a piece of brilliant business...Bought for 28m quid...Sell for less/around half of the price he was bought...BRILLIANT piece of business by some kind of business gods or whatever you claimed to be..The list goes on with David Billion,Massimo Taibi,William Prunier,Liam Miller,Eric Djemba-Djemba...Oh a certain Kleberson...

Speaking of That spanish manager, he did sign quite a number of flops during his reign...Cant see his supporters claim he is some kind of business gods right after he signed Torres, mascherano , etc...

Business god.. laugh.gif Veron is the god! tongue.gif

Was expecting something better than this that will enlighten fellow rivals' fans...Too bad it was such a short message trying to defend for the sake of defending while having a dig on others simultaneously...

Bet you won't write much since you probably don't know who the heck is Massimo Taibi...Who the hell is William Prunier?

Oh well..what a waste of time...Given the regular M.U.S.T poster like maxizanc, sinoffire. They will probably reply with something educational/informative instead of some stupid bashing/ slight dig. smile.gif

Hmm someone makes a comment cue anti-Liverpool sentiment. Why can't anyone defend a comment without having to launch a salvo of their own? I'm not sure who Panda supports but if you read what he wrote, he said, "most Man Utd supporters". To be honest, I've seen comments like "We cannot match Real's or Chelsea's spending...", but never mentioned it. So now, there is truth in his statement but instead of pointing out that fans with a better understanding know they aren't exactly paupers, you choose to attack Liverpool. Well whatever floats your boat.

no offense to u guys (ars and liv fans) anyway

I know who is Taibi alrite. He let a ball slip in between his legs at rolling speed and blamed Nicky Butt for it rclxms.gif

Whats wrong? Can't even understand simple statement such as Net Transfer Spend to Trophies won ratio?

Want a proper opinion? Fine.

All this about Manchester United buying success are rubbish. Sure we spend alot on players. Whats wrong with spending the fruits of our investments? We built our commercial powerhouse by first WINNING trophies, ESTABLISHING our brand globally and then reinforcing the winning capability by REINVESTING on talents. All the way back to Billy Meredith and then George Best and to David Beckham, players enhances the club's brand on and OFF the pitch. If Liverpool can't afford to pay star players extravagant wages its their own loss. Do not discredit our spending because you CANT AFFORD. Why is it that some ManUtd fans even give a slightest hint on rivals "buying success"? I believe its directed solely on Chelsea, they get Russian oil and run at a loss but continue spending. But lets not go into that further.

Well over the past few months this "ManUtd buys success" crap are being spewed out from only a certain camp of supporters, of course i my responce would be directed to that camp.

I have nothing against Liverpool, its their certain fans from all over the world, and their manage, which are annoying. If you ask me, the rivalry between ManUtd and ManCity should be more of a spectacle. Or have people forgotten that ManCity are infact our direct rivals?

How often do you see us (liverpool supporters) talking about manu 's spending? In fact, if my memory serves me right, we haven't been talking about you guys for months (except for the owen part since he was our ex player) because we are too busy worrying about the future of Alonso and Mascherano.Though,I do not deny that some of us did mention manu buying success some times ago which is a few months ago.And funnily, a couple of months ago, Golden, a fellow manu supporter claimed that we are trying to buy success by buying Torres. laugh.gif

As for the annoying fans part, you might want to take a look on your sides who repeatedly refer our manager as spanish waiter...In fact, every time you guys post about it.None of us talk about it because it's your thread and you can do anything and post anything about it.So why would you bother about us talking about you guys buying success in our own thread?(if we do talk about it) And if you want to compare, when you guys finish pre season game, we never go in, trying to be an attention whore and troll.YET when we drew Thailand, a bunch of idiots went in and troll in our thread.Speaking of annoying huh?I wonder which side is the most annoying bunch...

I have nothing against your club. It's just that I have seen way too much of hypocrisy from SOME manu supporters...

First things first, ignore Golden. He is just some random DOTARD that trolls around. If you've seen his post in other parts of the forum you'll know that nothing he says is worth even looking at.

About Benitez, well he started the random attack on ManUtd and Ferguson, so it is natural we return a salvo. Since your club's manager advocate the idea that ManUtd buys success, and you guys clearly supported the notion when it first surfaced, of course my response be directed to both.

Now my direction is not based on opinion on this board only if you realised. Newspapers and other opinion polls and rants I also consider. So whatever is going on between both threads is hardly my concern. Heck, i don't even follow the club threads here.

Its the chicken or egg question again. Which begets first?

IMHO, Money buy instant success (in the case of Blackburn 1995 title, and Chelsea) and to a certain extent Man U (it took a while after Rio, Hargreaves?, Nani, Anderson, Park, Evra, Rooney, Berbatov, Tevez) and after CR7 bloomed that MU, with its long bench, won the last 3 titles.

Liverpool was just short of a few signings away (bench depth) to win the title last season. If only they have deep financial pockets. hmm.gif

ahhaha we are the bad guy la ok? yeah there is no name calling in liverpool thread...is all bout serious talking...

anyway issit me or everyone think that every stuff that you mention here must be related to man united??

whether is a spanish waiter or spanish toilet or any spanish material you can mention here....it was just a name calling...nothing big deal....he can call fergie the red nose or anything you can think of....

btw i feel the fire here is burning hard...lets not talk bout just liverpool vs man united...lets discuss bout others....

i think in term of spending...whether is a succesful one or a flop one we does not nit to discuss bout it la....when you buy a new player is all about gamble...

if it is a flop one than move on lo...of coz your rivals sure will taunt you de ma...thats is normal...that is because we have the passion we have with our team...try not take it too hard....just take it as a joke....in the end there is no winner here.....

what i more interested is whether that player can bring more to the club...not focusing on other player that is flop in the club....

you have to understand that each club will try to take a dig on other club whether in which aspect.....but that's only kept within ur own thread....in this public thread there is no reason why we nit to remind everybody what has been discuss in other thread...

make peace no war.... smile.gif

No one say you guys are the bad guy.I m just calling for a stop for those hypocrisy of calling Liverpool supporters annoying when you guys are annoying as well.

Of course the stuff I said related to manu since a fellow manu supporter talk about my team, my team manager. It will be silly if I talk about Arsenal or Chelsea when the guy is obviously a manu supporter, no?

The flop part is just a reply on what the other posted claimed to be " business gods".

Is just funny that while manu supporters can criticize, have a dig on others, Liverpool supporters who did the same tend will be blamed(or rather, hinted that ) he/she is trying to ignite a flame war.Oh well...
