hi all, i need recommendation on 8" sub woofer. ok, i am going to take out the original 6x9 and replace it with a 8" woofer, so the woofer goes hanging, free air, i don't mind the bass effect but i like clear and crispy sound.

i have a soundstream 6" components at front, any advise appreciated.

i thought not many manufacturer produce 8" sub nowadays.. due to the fact that 8" couldnt play deep low bass quite well (or is it just difficult to find in our market?)

thats why i ended up with Boschmann 8"

You may not be able to acheive good SQ bass below 80hz, but for in-car techno db bass will still rock for a 2 to 4pcs setup.

As stated, i TRIED the 10inch sub in a shop (currently using 8inch). Cause i was really planning to get a new sub. But then again as stated "10inch ofcourse GOT diff..but NOT much at all". So ended up not buying the 10inch.

I know of 1 sedan car which have 8pcs of 8" woofer custom-installed in the boot producing ridiculously high ground shaking DB. rclxub.gif

yeah 12inch is great but u need the power from ur amp also..my amp just good enough for my 8inch sub..one thing im worried about installing a 12inch is also the battery. Alot say that a small car with a small battery like mine wont be able to handle it. sad.gif
