I was expecting more on this.It seems like those typical console slash games.Doesnt seem as fun as GoW.

QUOTE(simo_keng @ Sep 7 2008, 10:08 PM) More blood... More screaming on the cultist part... hope I won't be stuck with the same bolter throughout the game... Maybe can get a hammer or force blade or plasma gun while I'm dreaming? LOL... And maybe some company while we're at it... Don't you feel lonely running around by urself? The scale of fights are too small in the preview... Yeah,GoW style will be awesome.Hope it gets real big and messy with all sort of stuff flying off the chaos marines lol... Imagine you have a squad of marines. Some use bolters, plasma gun,Power Fist,Daemon Hammer..... Lastly, they need to have randomised models because most TT models are randomised. QUOTE(azxel @ Sep 8 2008, 04:38 PM) nice graphics and effects but looks like boring gameplay. that plane keeps flying around that same area. the cinematics while cool in the beginning is gonna be irritating after you've seen it for the 100th time. Let's hope there's team play... Yeah, thats the problem. The animation is a bit strange too.Quite a lot of clipping. |

QUOTE(simo_keng @ Sep 8 2008, 07:04 PM) Amen to that. There's one part where he's suppose to like thrust the blade through the chaos marine... but it ran right pass it, but the chaos marine still fell splat on the floor... Owh, and he keeps going on about "100s of killing moves", but I keep seeing the same bland one.... I'd be happy with at least 3-4 for each enemy ^^ He did mention that this is work in progress. So not so many animations yet.OOO... hope we can cut up more than just chaos forces... maybe some of them ork boyz And here's to hoping that it doesn't turn into a button mashing fest Still, the overall feel is good.Just the combat have a lot of problems. |

Relic is pretty well known for making innovative gameplay.
I guess Space marine will have some pretty innovative 3rd person multiplayer. |

QUOTE(Kale92 @ Jun 9 2011, 02:28 PM) Imagine space marine=humans | orcs=zombie ,there you go,L4D2 LOL There are not normal humans, and they dont even play like normal humans.Only if theres co-op...Opss co-op removed...T__T Space Marines probably have portrayed the warhammer lore in the most accurate way in a Relic game so far. DoW2/1's one is pretty rubbish, as few space marines might get killed buy a bunch of Slugga's. In Space Marine, they grind 40 Slugga for breakfast and only left with puddles of blood. Thats how badass a space marine should be. Heard there is co-op too. Seriously, they even gave 2 space marines following you, if they dont let you to control them, that would be a huge waste. |

The combat looks like typical third person shooter, but it does look fun, if there are good MP population.

Does this game have coop? It's a deal breaker if it doesn't have one.

QUOTE(Gormaz @ Aug 16 2011, 11:31 PM) My idea was a grenade launcher too yar (with the drum charger and all) but it doesnt really really make much sense to have Marines use one, their arm can launch a grenade pretty damn far already and with good accuracy but well... Thats a Relic designed weapons. Cant remember what is it called, except its like TF2's Demo Stickies. At least as far I know I never saw marines using one in any codex or novels I read. But well, can also see why they added more weapons to the game, add to variety About Grimdark: 1d4chan come to the rescue: http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Grimdark |
