hey guys,

i have a 'crazy' idea. since i feel that the bass of the a6 is not up to my expectation, i'm thinking of adding a sub to it. this is what i have in mind. pls advise is it possible to be done without damaging the speakers.
1) as the a6 doesn't have any sub out, so can't connect a sub directly
2) get a 2.1 system, with a good bass
3) sound out from s/card will go to this 2.1
4) the 2.1 will have sound out to the satelites. rather than going to the satelites, i'll connect this to the input of the a6
5) so the sub of the 2.1 will handle the bass, anything above the crossover will be handle by the a6, which it is good at thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

the question that keep bugging me is that the signal from the 2.1 to the sats is already amplified. if i connect it to the a6 as a source input, will it burn the a6? sweat.gif sweat.gif please advise.

thanks.

Well, with active sub, just branch out/connect the output from this A6 to the sub will do.
Either with just one side out or both L and R output from A6.

No harm to this A6.
