just go to the blue cube n pick a number then register n buy the topup..but u can also migrate to UOX from other networks...but not from Xpax to UOX.. (already confirmed it with the TTDI celcom branch)

so I guess I can port from digi prepaid to celcom UOX?
How about after I reach 25, can I port away from UOX? tongue.gif

Celcom widest coverage is tempting to me. smile.gif

26? Great. I have more than 2 years to reach 26.

Can my digi remaining credit port over to Celcom? I wonder how the credit validity for UOX?
At least Digi prepaid plan (I'm not D'campus) allow my line to stay 1 year active with RM100 reload.

[You can choose to not answer me, once a while I do hope for spoonfeed too tongue.gif]

yes, my UOX will expired few weeks after my 26th birthday.  tongue.gif

no, your digi credit will not be transfer to celcom.. because u pay your money to digi, so digi must give you service.. you cannot request celcom to provide service to you for any RM that you paid to digi..  blush.gif

and, it is imposible to ask digi to return your money and give it to celcom since it should be their revenue, why need to return it, furthermore to give it to their competitor  shakehead.gif

there is no credit expired for UOX, since all your credit is valid at anytime until your UOX number expired (when you reach 26). so, no need to worry tongue.gif

however, to enjoy this special credit validity, you need to verify your myKad at any celcom branches.. otherwise, you will get normal validity (as normal xpax users enjoy)

Ic, that's great. Will finish my digi credit asap and port to Celcom UOX.
Gonna look for BlueCube somewhere in Ipoh smile.gif

Thanks for the info.

I just did my switched to UOX today at Greentown's Celcom Branch in Ipoh..

Hmm.. They just gimme a normal XPAX simcard.. is all UOX sim card is like this or??

I thought there will be a simcard indicating is UOX or smtg else..

Can anyone here verify this? Thanks...

Greentown's Celcom Branch?
I check uox.com.my and they only stated Tesco Extra Celcom BlueCube.

It should take sometime before they port you from maxis/digi to celcom.
I believe they already given u a celcom simcard, right? Just wait till your current simcard inactive, then just put in your celcom simcard.

That's what happen to my Maxis postpaid when I ported it to Digi postpaid few weeks back. smile.gif

My father has a Celcom prepaid line.
Somehow Celcom outlet refused to transfer the Celcom prepaid line under my brother's name, so that can benefit from UOX package.

I thought it should be possible?

Well you see, if cannot why some people here port their 012/016 number to enjoy UOX package?

So to get UOX, its either port from what others telco to UOX.
Or buy a new prepaid pack.

The most extreme case would be port away the current Celcom prepaid to other telco, then port back to UOX............

I just went to BlueCube to port my 016 (digi) to UOX.
They told me it will take 5 days for the card to be activated.

Finger crossed, they will give me UOX instead of XPAX. Else I gonna revisit them again.

Btw, how to know whether I'm on UOX or XPAX?

My 016 number now officially under "My Celcom" UOX package.

It took them just a day to complete the switch. smile.gif

problematic, yes you cannot.
Unless you port away from Celcom, then port back to UOX later.

Just wonder how the rate for UOX calculate?

UOX 15cent/min. How many seconds per block?
Or each block is a minute?
Coz I remember I made a short call, credit dropped fast....

Hi Guys just got my UOX number, i have a few question here.
1.Is the SIM card that i receive is 3G SIM card?
2.If so the how to activate the 3G?
3.I have another celcom number, a very old one so can this number be converted to UOX? (i have already know that only 1 UOX is allowed per person)

Thanks smile.gif

1. Yes.
2. It is already activated.
3. No. Unless your port to other telco, change ownership to someone below 26-year-old, then port back to UOX. Very troublesome unless you desperately want the package.

if i go to other countries for example.. indonesia.... what are the rates?

Check celcom website.

Roaming rates have never been good for prepaid.
Postpaid is way better in this.
