The 60sec/block is what put many away. I wasn't even aware of the 60sec block till this year January. No wonder, when i make short calls my credit runs out so quickly.

Weird la, never faced this problem. Better just go straight to their service centre, their help line seriously lousy.

QUOTE(cardin @ Apr 23 2009, 04:52 PM)
network access is only 4 those who 1 2 extend their expiry date WITHOUT additional of amount of credit...RM1 = 1 day...dun ever waste yr money wif network access juz purchase airtime u wil get extended expiry date PLUS de airtime...

Dude, get used to it. When i porte from Xpax to Hotlink, it was a paperless porting. When i ported from Digi to UOX, had to fill in a big form and had to wait for about 30 minutes. I'm only with UOX because of the great rates!

Would it be costly to check my email using IMAP with GPRS?

Nope, they dont allow MNP from Celcom numbers. Port to some other operator, then port back to UOX.

Yeah, you can port any number, just make sure to pay your bills first if you are Digi Postpaid user. I took my Digi Prepaid 010-9090xxx and ported to UOX. No problem at all. Btw, my Digi Prepaid was only like 1-2 weeks old before i ported it.

The only problem with 010 is you cant register for UOX Play because they dont have 010 in their drop down menu!

If your UOX expired because of your age, then most probably there is nothing you can do about it,

Recently i've been experiencing terrible service for UOX. Usually at night, i have to resend sms 3 times before it sends. Also when i make calls at night, difficult to get through.

Also i convinced one of my friend to port to UOX from Digi, and he's a hardcore fan of Digi. After he did, he got an sms 3 weeks later that he has to visit nearest centre to verify his age. Damn malu la. Cant they just use his photocopied ic? IC number wil never cheat. How to promote UOX service? My friend so busy, he fed up, most probably porting to HYC.
