The invoice you need to have someone in US to help. Amazon/DHL won't help you on this.  tongue.gif

The Flow.

1. Buy from Amazon - Free Shipping to member in US
2. Member in US swap Amazon invoices with reduced value.
3. Member in US ship the stuff to you in Msia
4. No Tax!!!

I m far from elite lah tun mega tongue.gif

I don't even have LCD, PS3 or any sound system to play BDs yet.

Juz move house, only have 21" Gelombang Cekai TV connected to "HTPC" haha. biggrin.gif

Some BDs in UK really no fight with US leh. Sigh.

POTC Trilogy US 6 Discs @ USD57.95 * 3.5 =~ RM203

POTC Trilogy UK 4 Discs @ £43.98 * 6.3 =~ RM277

RM70++ difference with less goodies? Wah headache lah. I wan the 6 disc version drool.gif

Brother corez, wanna find out from you what is the shipping cost for VPost from US to MY?

Normally shipping costs divided into 0.5kg, 1kg etc rite? How to maximise it leh? Meaning if wan value for money, how many BDs shud be in 1 shipment leh? Since now Tax issue is somehow solved, shipping cost is also an issue leh hehe.

Somehow US still gives better BD packages. UK don have Coppola Restoration Godfather, Ultimate Matrix Collection and NO KILL BILL sad.gif. Only thing planet earth 1 more extra disc than US version kekeke tongue.gif

If you're on a tight budget, u might want to try Sony HTSF2300. Can't compare to HT with a dedicated amp and speakers but you can still enjoy HD Audio biggrin.gif Plus it has 3 HDMI INs hehe.

Sony HTSF2300

P.S. I m in no way affiliated with Sony

Hi all, i m very new to the blu-ray scene and i have this question regarding Amazon UK and US purchase.

I know that UK and US belongs to different regions. There are region free releases as well as region specific releases. Is it safe to say that if i buy a region free release in US, it will be the same as the region free release in UK, vice versa?

I m not referring to the packaging and cover. I m worried about the contents. Will they be 100% same?

I m asking becoz i see that the product description between US and UK amazon are different.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. If both the releases are Region Free in both regions, will the contents be the same?

Hmm, is it just me or US releases looks more attractive? Any sites that shows comparison between US and UK releases, eg which is more worthwhile to get, better quality, more extras, more discs etc?

I m limited to UK purchases now and i m afraid that UK releases are somehow more 'inferior' compared to US releases hehe. Esp. in regards or cencorship etc.

Or am i thinking too much?

For example The Patriot

Amazon US

Amazon UK

I can't see from the description whether they're the same. The extras etc.

Thanks for the reply. That's wat i meant. UK releases always seem 'inferior' compared to US releases. Why ar? Dengz.

Sorry for the long post, is it possible to ship from US to UK? Will the shipping cost be very expensive? Will I get taxed?
