this thing is selling for HKD249 in the stores. just now i called a shop and they seem to be out of stock!!!! not sure if i can get mine next week.....have to pray harder

fellas, where do you guys go to check the audio/video properties of the released BD titles? the tech specs on Amazon usually not very accurate or comprehensive.

that is one question that i have yet to confirm the answer...i thought region A would mean it can play at least region 1 and 3 dvd...but this is not the case...so far my asian region A plays mainly region 3 and 0 (obviously)....and very small number of region 1 and (of course) none of the region 2 and 4. dont have other regions to verify.

thanks to you guys......i've just posted 1st batch of approx. 20 DVDs on an auction site...once i sold them off.....then i have an excuse (and space on the shelf) to replace them with BD...hehe

hehe...that's what i did...pop into the disc and select the chapter.....wonder why it is not rated NC-17

as for the Red Cliff, a few scenes are on the BD which has been cropped off in msian cinematic release.

just watched iron man last evening....the picture quality is average...as what you'd expect from a BD....the audio..the TureHD thing...seem to be below what i have expected......then again..probably i didnt crank it up.hehe

arent these movies released in msia as well?
