Just revisted LXG (The league of Extraordinary Gentlemen)
The PQ is about 3.5/5 for my standard.
But the AQ is amazing. This is one of the few movies that actually gives me the 9.1 experience. A must blast movie. Lucky I dont have neighbours wink.gif

No la, just another peasant compared to so many sifu, taikor, tun. blush.gif
Actually, the BDs itself cant do 11.2 but it uses Yamaha's own DSP technology to create virtual surround from a 5.1 to matrix it to 11.2. So I'm just a peasant, the real elites would be a having a full 11.2, hehe. Full 11 speakers and two subbies rclxms.gif

My house was shaking and the plates in the kitchen are rattling.....I can feel the power of the explosion, it vibrates right into my body....I am in the deep sea 200M below the surface, the pressure compressing my outer shell, I can hear the metal being squeeze, right beside my ears, the bolts begin to loose and the water are coming in from everywhere.......I really feel it...

God...the AQ of U-571 is wonderful, the atmosphere are so tense and the ambient sound never let my surr speakers rest....not to mention the sub-woofer......superb AQ...PQ not reference but looks sharp & detail to me....

If you have knock out system with a quality sub-woofer...this is a MUST have title thumbup.gif

You know what, I've just discovered the invisible man in LXG is actually Jason Statham. That was before he was famous.

Movies with Sean Connery in it is worth watching IMO biggrin.gif

Another personal preference of mine for good AQ reference is Behind Enemy Lines, it just blows you away thumbup.gif Especially the sniper audio scenes. You get the full sensation of all speakers.

I bet you guys didn't noticed him in Italian Job too until you rewatched it after he became noticable.
Me too, I was concentrating on Charlize Theron brows.gif

came back from work and changed the HDMI cable with my DVD one..still at some scene (not always) got the glitches..so sad..but when i changed to my FF BD..nothing happened for a good 30min  rclxub.gif  ... hmm.gif since it is a normal HDMI bundled with the DVD...do i still need to test with a better cable? ...this weekend gonna bring my PS3 to my friends house and try..just to test whether it's my tv that causes the problem.. doh.gif

Jep, try reducing your LCD's contrast. It happened to my friend's too, exactly what you described coz his contrast was adjusted too high.

No it wasn't. Tony Curran played the character of Rodney Skinner in (the forgettable) LXG.

I thought so too initially , but rewatch the scene at elapsed time 01:20:24 when they were in the cave. I dare bet my bottom dollar it was Jason. or maybe he did a stand in for Tony only for that scene?
