Eh? How come? Yours should be in the same flight as mine. It was already in Philippines last night. But mine was halted there and on its way back to Amazon.

QUOTE(arj @ Sep 5 2008, 09:12 PM) 7am? They've got one whole working day to make the delivery, yet they failed. UPS really sucks! I've make some comments about UPS to Amazon. Got positive response, they told me that they'll observe how UPS performs and possible make improvements to their priority shipping method. |

QUOTE(arj @ Sep 6 2008, 04:06 AM) Looks like Speedy has a very good connection with UPS. If the package is not taxable, they'll send it to FINAS to delay the shipment. This never been done before middle of this year. They are doing everything they can to make us stop buying online. Speedy Video is owned by Berjaya Group right?I wonder, UPS could be Speedy's carrier for their imported BD/DVD/CDs. And look here, I thought I already told them to return to sender: QUOTE SEPANG, MY 09/06/2008 5:52 A.M. UPS IS AWAITING PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION FROM THE RECEIVER In your dream, I'll never pay even 1 sen. |

QUOTE(Exarkun @ Sep 10 2008, 09:47 AM) Guys, a quick check. Yes. Yu can ask for price difference refund within 30 days. If Amazon drops the price of a Bluray 6 days after I ordered and shipped, do I get a rebate? I ordered Space Cowboys on the 4th of Sept for $15.95. Today Space Cowboys was reduced to $13.95. Any thoughts? Htkaki, Servo 15 coming? |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Sep 10 2008, 10:24 AM) It's kinda silly, ain't it. We didn't watch it in the cinema for 10 bucks and are thinking of buying it for over a hundred bucks Not really bro. Now I prefer to watch the movies on BD more than cinema. I regretted watching TDK in cinema, terrible picture quality, black becomes grey, the details in darks scenes disappears. Watch the TDK prologue on hte Batman Begins BD and you'll see what I mean. |

QUOTE(kerollowyat @ Sep 10 2008, 10:33 AM) How long it takes for a movie to comes out in BD. Usually 4-5 months after US release date. I'm waiting for Batman - Dark Knight. I already watch it in cinema, and I want to watch it again, in HD. Anyone knows, when it will be available in BD? Thanks That's usually dependent on the region, if they're still showing it in cinemas, then that region will take longer. The other region will have to region code the BD. TDK will be release on December 16th. This post has been edited by aiman04: Sep 10 2008, 10:38 AM |

QUOTE(megatron007 @ Sep 10 2008, 11:38 AM) amazoo need to make more profit What's that got anything to do with price guarantee?maybe got alot RATs customer report "fake case" about "lost " BD or MIA BD no choice where else to buy ? To eliminate that problem they can stop doing refund/replacement for lost shipment, etc. They're not doing the shipping anyway. I'm not worried if Amazon itself goes extinct. Got many other choice now. |

QUOTE(toratora @ Sep 10 2008, 03:13 PM) wah was away for quite some time and so many stuff happened 1. I never said DHL will not get taxed. The fact here is that DHL's successful rate is much, much higher. Imagine my orders since 2002 never taxed, this is my first time and guess what, it was UPS. With UPS it's almost a certain you'll get taxed if the value is more than RM500. The worst thing is, they never even bother to negotiate with the customs, calling me to pay the tax even before the plane arrive.just got time to browse through previous thread all the drama and rat also the kattam very active it seems. Just wanna share my 0.02 cent 1. It's a myth that DHL will not get tax because i kena b4 from DHL (maybe UPS is more likely to kena and the one that kena even before the packages reached malaysia is really too much) 2. If kena prepare to pay 30% + 10% on top of your blu ray price + shipping 3. Of course you can always opt to return to sender (Amazon) but amazon told me last time that they will only refund me the blu ray price but not the shipment cost. Maybe Aiman can shed more light on this? Full refund or only the movies? Also any possiblities to check with our local post office whether they got any packages in their storage or not without any traking number? Just address 2. That's correct. 3. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/dis...f?nodeId=901926 - I know they said "if the error is made by them", but earlier this year I got full refund even though it was I that mistakenly made the order. And this time they've replied to my email with a guarantee for full refund. You just have to communicate with them. You can check if you know which post office in your area is the collection centre. |

Positive news, Amazon just wrote to me again.
They're "aware that our choice of delivery services reflects on our business as a whole, and we appreciate your feedback." They've acknowledge the problem with UPS, how it is "not providing the best service to most of our customers in your country". So mine is not the only case. They have flagged the shipping department about this issue. But of course, they end the email with this: "Customer service is not in a position to make changes to web site features or functions. Likewise, we cannot make promises that other departments will make changes at our request. However, please be assured that we do value the feedback of our customers and make every attempt to integrate their comments or suggestions into our stores and procedures. Please understand that, it will certainly take some time to collate and implement our customers feedback, in the meanwhile, We really appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter." This is their second email to me regarding this issue. This post has been edited by aiman04: Sep 10 2008, 11:03 PM |

QUOTE(jep @ Sep 10 2008, 11:44 PM) Guys..i thought the problem is over but it's not..i'm haunted by this problem now..sometimes at random when watching BD's i get this video glitches which is annoying and i can't replicate it again which rules out the Disc problem (or is it?)..below are the samples i took from web..but not to that extreme Looks like data loss. I think it's the HDMI cable. Try with another cable and see how it goes.http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2275/215681...ee5076e.jpg?v=0 http://farm1.static.flickr.com/82/24192002...7e6f514.jpg?v=0 Any ideas?
